Bro none worked.. could not restore.. It said " to use system restore, you must specify which windows installation to restore. Restart this computer, select an operating system, and then select system restore." Help pls
try sfc scan search for command prompt in the windows search bar and click on run as administrator type the command sfc space /scannow and hit enter to invoke the sfc scan next solution is to repair the BCD search for command prompt in the windows search bar and click on Run as administrator type this command Bootrec space /RebuildBCD then enter. Try also Cloud reset right click on the start button select settings on the menu go to the system tab on the list on the left side select recovery in the right pane click on reset PC select remove everything and then finally select the option for cloud reset.
try right-clicking the app's shortcut on your desktop and choosing "Properties." Access the "Compatibility" tab and select "Run Compatibility Troubleshooter
Another solution is make sure you download the right version for your operating system, x64 x86 check your system information system type which version suits you, check also your windows security goto apps & browser control- reputation based control turn off check apps and files (Risk you may installed app with malware) do scan after succesfull installation
Also the system restore? if thats the case try to add or create another admin user transfer all your files to the new user delete the old, if still try to do system update
