- Pooja, a 27 years old, young independent woman lives her with single mother, Sarita . Like every other mother, Sarita is extremely protective about her daughter’s safety. Her fear of something bad happening to her daughter makes her apprehensive all the time. Pooja has recently got promoted and she rebels against her mom’s wishes and decides to go for a late-night party with her office colleagues to celebrate the win. Something unfortunate happens and she gets caught in what her mother had warned about. What will Pooja do? Will she be able to tell her mother about the incident or take this truth to her grave? Will Sarita take her daughter’s stand or blame her for what happened to her? Watch this short film to find out.

Excessive sheltering will make girls lose their self confidence. Instead teach your daughter(s) early on to be vigilant, pay attention to personal safety at all times, take a cab or share a ride with friends, and, most importantly, have them enroll in a self-defense class.

I think parents of girls are only protective because we know how often such things happen,we simply need to inculcate bravery ,teach them martial arts for their protection and now , it's high time, women should now stop acting as cowards.Just because people are still timid , that's why such incidents haven't stopped occurring till date.

This is how most of the girls feel, and how parents try to control their daughters for safety and all, which I do understand very well from their POV they love their children and want only happiness for them, but you start feeling suffocated after sometime. And the part like that selfie is too accurate, that good girls don't do this n that. If their are boys in playground you can't go out. Everything is accurate except the part where mom understand, cause in reality, if the women told her mother, they would just get one more thing to add in taunts and and would *definitely* blame her. We don't expect mom to be 100% our friend but just enough to understand that we are capable of taking our own decisions. Who we be with and where we wish to go of course we will look into our safety and then only decide what to do. Not everything can be shared with mom but at least maintain strong enough bond that we can come and share serious problems with them.

I don’t blame the parents alone . Children too have to develop the confidence in parents and understand that they are the well wishes not their enemies. Mutual trust has to be developed along with transparency. If lies starts poring in from children’s side then the doubt starts making more impact in the relationships. Honestly speaking is the best policy . That’s the key of mutual trust building by both the sides . My take on the story . Hiding anything from each other increases the distance in relationships.
