A day in the life of working at YN would be awesome especially getting different views including senior mentors and the unseen hero’s of YN-the warehouse and customer service team❤❤❤

As a new person coming into a hobby, I really appreciate this video for giving me a new perspective on if I want to create a business for this passion that I have considering going to school I guess I do need to factor in perspective of clients

I think every salon personnel should listen to this- my former hairdresser had to leave mid a hair color service-yep mine ! since she was disorganized and ran out of color mid service-not once, not twice, it never happened a third time since her work style didn’t work for me.

The drama affects others in salon. My stylist was constantly being interrupted in the middle of clients, including me, because another stylists client arrived to find the stylist not there then she's asking my stylist where she is. It was constant. It annoyed me as it's my time with my stylist who's on time!!

I’m not a nail tech I just one of those that do my own nails because I can’t afford the salon. But I went to a salon for at least 30 yrs, I’ve always had my nails done.
As a client walking into a new salon or even watching the down fall of a salon I’d been going to for 10 years the first thing I’m looking at is cleanliness. Is the salon clean that day. How the salon looked usually told me what kind of day everyone was having. It was a nails, pedicures, hair, waxing…an all in one salon. They did my hair, nails, and pedicures.
I loved the place though and stayed until my nail tech and her husband left working there. It was at about the 10 year mark. They rented their own place. This was in my hometown and not long after I left the state to raise my kids in heeelllll lol 😂 no it wasn’t but you know the grass is greener.
I won’t go to a salon again for my nails, pedicures…I might, it depends. I’ve not found a good one. Hair, no way. I lost it during chemo treatment and so now I keep it very short and I can do it at home chemo continues so what’s the point?
You guys do some really great videos, I think some nail techs can learn a lot from this video.
    Now it’s time for…
    SALE! 😂
    See y’all next time! ✌️

How do you replace your lights? Do you just buy a whole new lamp or do we send it to you guys for this?

Unfortunately, you cannot replace LED lights. You would need a new curing light.

I don’t think doing services in 30 mins would be realistic I’d rather give myself time to chat with the client and do any nail art they want.

Everyone is going to be different and chatting with the clients is totally fine. We recommend getting as much information as possible prior to the appointment about any art they want so you can book out the correct amount of time you need to do their set while still maximizing your time.

One thing I don’t understand is if Tracey is booking her fills for 30 mins and another appt weather fill or rebalance for 30 too (she says she sometimes can do them in 30 mins) when does she have time to put her acrylic back in the basket and clean her tools?? I just don’t understand how she could do all her clients in a timely fashion and clean like she says. It just does add up. Literally.

She had pre-made baskets with acrylic or gel so she could grab them when needed with everything she needed.
She also had enough sets of tools for each client so she wouldn't need to stop and clean them. She would grab a brand new set and then would clean them all at the end of the day.
It's a time saving technique that you can do further in your career or if you have the ability to do so now then that's great.
