Wow, excellent job Severman! You´ve mastered the art of Progressive House. :) One thing that is eye opening for me is the mid bass group part. I never thought these songs have such an aggressive bass under them - but when I listen to the bass in the context of the song, it all makes sense.
This is crazy accurate! And as always so many valuable tips. Using a square wave to support the chords is so simple but yet makes such difference in sound. Thanks for that. I will use that for sure:))
Since I listened to Gravity on the set, Im always looking for your remake video. Never disappointed. As I fan, I love to watch more personal reaction from you, from your technical perspective. Wish you all the best
Severman back at it with another crazy accurate remake holy smokes 😮 There's a mono-ish centered lead preset in Spire named "Seventieth MW" which I like to use instead of "Arp Me V" preset-- you should definitely give it a try.
Another great way to do the Supersaw in Sylenth is to double up your Main layer in Part B (-1 octave in this case) with the Unison Stereo set to 0, and have it slightly quieter than Part A in the output mix. Lots of fundamental presence in the mix but you still get lots of nice sparkle from the higher octave in the stereo information. I’ve been going all in on learning golden era Big Room production lately and it’s something I picked up lol
I do it very simply - harmonic chords - minor or major. In various varieties and variations. Bass is just a melody from the lowest layer of chords moved one note lower. Melodies are a lot of work... And here I can do a lot, but now it's more about making a great :) song. The key is to bring out a good sound, for which you need to have talent and a lot of work.
Amazing video Sev, I realize that I need some quality samples for my music production, do you recommend the STMPD Sounds Volume 1 for this kind of music? I like your drums sample and I am looking for some quality sounds, thank you for sharing the knowledge
Hi Severman, I am a huge fan of yours and have been motivated by all the help you provide in every video. I have been producing for years now and everytime I have self doubt I just come to your channel to have inspiration. I don't mean to overstep but it would be an honor if I could show you one of my songs to see what you to think about it. Any feedback would truly give me a better understanding of what I need to improve. Thank you for everything honestly!

This is too good. I found out that the kick that was used in the original song was Saga kick that can be found in the musicore pack lost vol.2
Yeah it's sounds pretty similar to that one.
Damn this is so accurate 🔥🔥🔥Third party - free (remake) please
I love that one 😏🔥
Bro you are so accurate 🫡💯💯🗿🗿

what is peak controller and what can i use in ableton instead?
I'm not familiar with Ableton. Peak controller just detects the peaks/audio levels of your channel
@@djseverman is the peak controller a reversed gate or? Can you try use a compressor instead like fabfilters?
Amazing 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
