My favorite Jeni's flavor is a super seasonal one, they have a gray passionfruit frozen sorbet called Sunshine. They've done it twice now I think and each time I've bought 3 pints of it.

1:n means “for every 1 ‘win’ I’d expect about n ‘losses’.”
1/n means “out of n tries I’d expect about 1 ‘win’.”
The correct probability is 1/3264, which would be expressed as odds as 1:3263.

I think having the guest present for the preamble makes a lot of sense. I think what makes it so weird (at least for people watching) is trapping them right in the center of the frame. The format could be fine, if only Mitch and Nick could tolerate sitting close to one another.

I think I understand why/how a podcast can 'bring a guest in' with an introduction, but the whole 'well, we have to wait to introduce the guest before letting them participate' doesn't make any sense when the guest name is almost always in the title or description of a podcast...right?
