Both "I'd Do Anything For Love" and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" were written by the late Jim Steinman, who had a very recognizable bombastic style (he also wrote Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse Of The Heart," for example). But as far as Meat Loaf not saying what he won't do for love, I'm not sure why people perceive this as a mystery. You just have to listen to the song; the start of each verse (sung by his female duet partner) sets up a different example of a thing that he then says he won't do, i.e. "I'll never do it better than I do it with you / No I won't do that," "I'll never stop dreaming of you / No I won't do that," "After a while you'll forget everything / No I won't do that," and "Sooner or later you'll be screwing around / No I won't do that." Steinman was an amazing pop songwriter, but ambiguity was, uh, not his thing.
Claudia's scream and John dying on Mitch had me laughing so hard when I listened on my phone I had to run home to see the moment on TH-cam. AND IT DELIVERED.
Genuinely one of the most thrilling experiences I've ever had in a movie theater. I was literally on the edge of my seat with my hands squeezing the bejesus out of the armrests for most of the film.
Oh shit, my comment got removed because I mentioned the "bird fuck" website. But, anyway, that had me crying laughing. And god what great guests. I love John Early and Claudia so much.
Filipino here. Chicken Joy comes with gravy here so maybe that's why the US version is lacking in flavor. Also, Filipino spaghetti from KFC and McDonald's both suck.
Very prescient that they said "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" feels like a Meatloaf song, considering it was written by Jim Steinman who was one of Meatloaf's main collaborators and wrote songs for Bat Out of Hell I & II (including "I'd do anything for love")
I'm so jealous of Casey, I just watched Sorcerer for the first time a couple weeks ago and was blown away by it. I had never heard of it before, how is this not a household name classic?! Hopefully they do a screening over here someday, the soundtrack alone would be amazing in there.
I commented before the episode started, this episode is already fucking hilarious. Mitch's Mothman shirt rules and having John Early on during Pride month is appreciated.
the thing that meatloaf won't do is "forget the way you feel right now" plus some other stuff. each verse has a new thing he won't do. sorry to take some of the magic out of everyone's world.
Please read this in the reddit voice: "Corn chips are actually Fritos and a Frito pie is a really great state fair snack." Edit: Can we get Claudia on a hot dog on a stick ep?
I think it was Rose Tico, there have been a number of LA comedians who have talked about auditioning for the role including Lauren Lapkus and Maria Blasucci.

Claudia is my favorite guest on Doughboys. She's so funny.
She's a top tier guest on any pod
She's a GOAT
John & Claudia on the show together?! And in person?! What a treat!!
I love whenever she wins a contest to come out to California!
I absolutely LOST IT when Claudia screamed after Mitch's Fork Score Prestige!
I always listen to the pod but I had to pull up the vid for this!
@@moustachedotorg 100%!
1:23:11
52:52 the way John say "That sucks" after Mitch's lightsaber bit 😂
The amount of professionalism Emma had for registering that domain was beyond hilarious 🤣

Wow
love this energy. please never sleep again
John was concerned about Wiger being forced into eating the pork. What a sweetie 37:35
I fucking love John so much. He CRUSHES it in Search Party, a truly incredible slept on show of the last 5 years. Watch it!
No
Truly one of the best eps ever. I want to be friends with John and Claudia so bad
I love them both. And John is one of the funniest people on earth.
Watching John’s face as he tries to think of what Mitch means by “classic 8 inch dong” has me in tears.
John was killing it with the one liners.
This episode is so chaotic. Almost feels like a Don't Stop or We'll Die episode. Five forks!
This episode really set the audiences chins ablaze
John and Paul have such similar goofy sensibilities, this was my first time seeing/ hearing him and he’s such a fucking treasure!
I’ve listened to every episode of the Doughboys podcast and Doughboys Double. This is maybe the best episode yet.
Sorcerer is INCREDIBLE on the big screen and I hope Casey enjoyed it
Genuinely one of the most thrilling experiences I've ever had in a movie theater. I was literally on the edge of my seat with my hands squeezing the bejesus out of the armrests for most of the film.
@@djnekroman same! I hadn’t seen it before and I’m glad I waited. I have no idea how no one died during the filming of the bridge scene
Seeing Nick's visable discomfort when Mitch mentioned his hog lol
"Can you sit on Pluto?" - Mitch. I laughed so hard at this
If it's held in May then it would be May's May Maize Maze
Such a good ep! I had to watch the entire thing right after listening for the visuals. worth it!
I just came here to do this.
I could have watched a whole episode of them just dividing and trying the food. The cross talk during that was just fun.
What an episode! Great guests. So much fun. Thanks all for the home run content!
Oh shit, my comment got removed because I mentioned the "bird fuck" website. But, anyway, that had me crying laughing. And god what great guests. I love John Early and Claudia so much.
They actually bought it and put the gif up lmao
its my new homepage. Just like the podcast, it's super unhelpful but I love it
I just checked it and it's going strong. Still got that under construction gif too, so imagine the possibilities!
The way Claudia says JOEWLIBEE IS CUTE AND ALWAYS GET THE CHICKEN JOY
Amazes me to see John elevate any pod he's on.
This episode is an instant classic. Top tier guests. They are so silly!
Wow. First time watching the video version. Awesome guests!
Filipino here. Chicken Joy comes with gravy here so maybe that's why the US version is lacking in flavor. Also, Filipino spaghetti from KFC and McDonald's both suck.
It comes with gravy in the US too. Not sure why they didn't have any with their orders.
It's probably in one of the bags but they didn't eat it with the gravy
I had to look this up because I hadn’t even heard of this but apparently there are four distinct molds of nuggs! 15:56
Birthday Boys is on AMC Plus!
Some people are just effortlessly funny like Claudia. 🤘🏽
I think Mitch was the original Star Wars kid showing off his lightsaber skills.
john should be on every episode of doughboys. such a great ep!
Is anyone else double dipping?
I listen to the podcast at work and watch the vod at night
claudia is honorary president of doughboys.
30:01 Mitch was right about "rancid", rancor is the root word!
Emma & Amelia are the MVPs of this episode for bringing Mitch's dream to life.
"You should just have the decency of Joe Rogan." Possibly the first time in history that sentence has ever been said?
What a delightful ep. Love John and love Claudia.
This episode was so freaking funny.
The Filipino equivalent of “Unga pachka” is “Maraaming Artte.” I felt this to be appropriate because of the subject matter.
Amazing ep, one of the best ever.
They had such a hard time explaining popcorn with sugar on it 😅
I love John and Claudia they’re the fucking best. John looking like a more handsome and charming Gosling.
I like how Sorcerer was the most plugged thing in the episode.
Mitch would def take care of a rancor, he shouldn’t get so offended lol
They really bought the domain 😂😂😂
We call corn-dogs pluto-pups in Australia!
John is just the best
Claudia and John, wow.
Great ep
I went to one of the screenings of Sorcerer in LA, I may have caught something from Casey after they all shared food
Sorcerer is awesome, I can't blame Casey for putting it first.
Very prescient that they said "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" feels like a Meatloaf song, considering it was written by Jim Steinman who was one of Meatloaf's main collaborators and wrote songs for Bat Out of Hell I & II (including "I'd do anything for love")
Wow. Love a chaos episode so much.
Sadly, I haven't been this excited in a long time as I am right now to watch this.
This was a bad one to rush, but I understand things happening that you can't fully control. These guests are great!
I came here from the pod to see the Rancor Keeper's face on Mitch's face.
I'm so jealous of Casey, I just watched Sorcerer for the first time a couple weeks ago and was blown away by it. I had never heard of it before, how is this not a household name classic?!
Hopefully they do a screening over here someday, the soundtrack alone would be amazing in there.
I would be all in on a food podcast hosted by Claudia and John
I feel so attacked by the first ad read, I got a ring from my aunt to propose to me fiancée
Wiger? more like Thigh-ger!
I feel like Emma was definitely not the only person that was high during this record
I love Mitch’s mothman shirt!
Goddammit this is making me laugh at work stop
top 5 ep
Wow, John Early looks more like Macaulay Culkin than The Culkster himself.
Mitch's bird fuck dream reminded me of his Brooklyn 99 character.
I commented before the episode started, this episode is already fucking hilarious. Mitch's Mothman shirt rules and having John Early on during Pride month is appreciated.
very high quality a++ grade guests wow
Jollibee pies are the best fast food dessert in the game, arguably better than some sit down chains
lmao. this is great
I really want to know if casey made it to sorcerer. It would help me enjoy this ep more!
the thing that meatloaf won't do is "forget the way you feel right now" plus some other stuff. each verse has a new thing he won't do.
sorry to take some of the magic out of everyone's world.
Theres a jolibee chocomallow pie haha
Love John Early
Love this episode, great duo!! Thank you To my lord god Bugmane for manifesting this episode with his song "Jollibee". #skiddleskaddle
Here I was thinking I was the only weirdo who thought the BK song sounded like the whoosh song. Wow.
I need to know if Casey made it to Sorcerer
Wiger was clearly reading from a scripted intro about not writing scripted intros!
36:27 is so funny. Claudia's the best
There are 4 shapes to Mcnuggets. Figured you guys would know this.
Legendary guests. The absolute fuckin best.
Mitch’s hat placement is wild.
Please read this in the reddit voice: "Corn chips are actually Fritos and a Frito pie is a really great state fair snack."
Edit: Can we get Claudia on a hot dog on a stick ep?
31:26 boooooys
Wiger kept that traon running
❤❤❤
Claudia's "longstanding" joke isn't getting the credit it deserves.
Ah the origin of the website.
Claudia Claudia claudia!!!
Andor is the best thing to ever come out of the Star Wars franchise. Fight me!
Jollibee and KFC taste the same to me
what role did Claudia audition for??
She actually tried out for the titular Star. I think she would have been perfect.
I’m just guessing Emilia Clarke’s role in Solo
I think it was Rose Tico, there have been a number of LA comedians who have talked about auditioning for the role including Lauren Lapkus and Maria Blasucci.
Wow🎉
Wow
This episode got me try the spaghetti. Do not recommend! It's nasty! tastes like a sweeter version of canned chef boyardee
*annoying reddit guy voice* actually there are FOUR mcnugget shapes
2 all time great guests but i have to turn it off when people are eating on mic
