hello hello lil cherubs! In today's vlog I decided to take you along my mental health day #withme. I haven't taken a mental health day in a little while, and for me I'm especially happy when I get to just spend some time alone, listen to a good podcast in the car, maybe do a little thrifting, eat some of my favorite snacks, and kinda power myself back up. Please remember everyone's mental health day's look very different! And for me it's taking care of myself doing my favorite things, and even buying things like food for myself, because I used to feel massive guilt for doing that in the past. I also talk about some stuff that I've been going through with my cat Missy passing away. Thank you so much for coming along with me, with just so happened to be World Mental Health Day, and I had so much fun making this vlog and spending it with you! There's a church I pass that has a sign on it that says "God's doors are open to all". Each word is on a different door and the doors' colors make up the rainbow/pride flag. It makes me happy every time I pass it

also, i'm so so so so sorry abt missy. i went through the same thing last year (to the day i think) and it sucks!! but keeping memories happy/remembering their life in positive ways is the most honorable thing you can do for them. sending love to you and yours

My dad gave me a cat 5yrs ago, he said shes a girl so I just believed him you know. I named her luna. 4 months later I took her to the vet to get fixed & he says I’m sorry but luna is a boy. I was dead. But everything was already pink & all of Instagram already knew her as luna so, he is Luna. Ppl love this story. I love her so much & I am so sorry about your cat 🥺🤍

Omg, that's so crazy. When we bought my cat home first we thought that he was a girl and called him Luna too! Then my friend compared him to her cat and we saw the very obvious difference down there lol. We had already gotten used to the name so we just call him Luno, he's the sweetest boy.

@@dayllily He is grey and has one eye, we had to get it removed bc he showed up one day with his eye swollen and like coming out of his face. Really ugly, but he's doing absolutely fine right now.

I’m so sorry about Missy :( I lost my cat abruptly and it broke me bc she was so young. Missy clearly had an amazing & fulfilled life. Take all of the time you need to process, it comes and goes in waves.
And when you feel ready, please adopt another cat. It was the best decision I ever made to get another one, it’s a different kind of love each cat gives us ❤️

I’m so sorry about your sweet missy! That’s wonderful that you’re looking at it in such a positive way, but man it is SO hard to lose them. 😭❤️ I’ve had my kitty since I was 4 (she’s 17 now) so I definitely get it- she was the biggest part of my childhood too. Hugs!!

My first dog passed away recently and I felt exactly what you’re describing. We didn’t want to put her down because she was still active and happy and the night before she died she was exactly the same as always. Anyway, I’m glad she’s at peace and your cat is at peace but I’m sorry you lost him because I know how hard that is

i’m watching this video after nicole’s most recent video and she was literally just talking about how happy she is animal crossing is getting snow and she mentioned it in this video too😭
I also deal with tragic stuff with humor. Also 17 is very old. One of my cat passed away when I was 17 and the other one when I was 22. I had both since I was 4 and the second cat was only 2 years younger than me. I literally grew up with them and I loved them with all my heart ♥ I can't put into words how much my cats shaped me and made me into the human I am today, it's crazy (but in a good way!).
i moved to nc from buffalo ny about a year ago and seeing u order from wegmans warmed my heart.. i miss that place, no other grocery store like it i swear!! also love love love ur vlogs!! hope u r feeling fabulous after ur mental health day:,)

I don't usually follow TH-camrs other than spiritual channels but I just love your energy. You're doing amazing and it's totally okay to cry, play Animal Crossing, and eat ice cream. All a balance. Stay focused on where you're headed! Hold the vision and trust the process, you GOT this, 300%, I believe in you. :) I used to be severely depressed and through our hardships, we find our strength and can trust in God/Universe so much deeper and fuller. just so yall know the cats and dogs at petco are good for adoption! it's not shopping, as 99% of the time they are rescues. every kitten i've fostered has gone to my local petco and found great homes, so don't hesitate to adopt there (: but if you are looking for a cat or dog i 100% recommend going to your local shelter especially if it is one that uses euthanization. don't be afraid to look at the older and shy cats/dogs too, they are often the best partners (":
