I would hate even contemplating, but I have heard of wireless rgb fans, and have felt the horror of non-techies thinking that it was full wireless and not just the controls so they would snip the power cords for the fans.

Fellow owner of a PC building business here! Has this problem on my first built 1-2 years ago. The RGB somehow turned on and it looked really weird! Last week i did a build that used the same parts as that first one, but with a 4070 instead of a 3070 and had the same problem. As im experienced now, i fixed it quickly but it reminded me of my first ever build and how i got this far. :)
Sometimes case fans that came with the PC Case have their own hub which combine the fan plugs and RGB to one SATA power connector. Like mine with the Deepcool CC360 ARGB mATX case
I did this with my first build. I figured “what’s the worst that could happen” then my brother walked into my room and immediately clocked the smell of burning electricity. I thought the motherboard provided the power to the case fans 🤦🏻
When I build my new rig, I spent 18 hours total (Not counting breaks) troubleshooting because it kept crashing. Temps were cool, checked every connection about 15 times but as soon as I tried anything other than the BIOS, the PC crashed. I was fairly certain a 4090 and 7800X3D could handle starting windows so I checked everything. Turns out the motherboard was defective. Sent it back, ordered a new one, suddenly everything worked. Good times lol
Build my first pc just a few days ago and was worried that I had did something wrong because the boot and VGA light came on and stayed on. So I was all over TH-cam and google searching why they were on but wasn’t getting a direct answer to why or I was but wasn’t quite getting the understanding of it because again it’s my VERY FIRST PC BUILD. So after a few hrs of why the light were on and I was kinda getting worried because I spend a lot on it. I decided to hook it up to the monitor it see if it would go away just for the monitor to say that it didn’t have no signal, can I tell you my heart drop lol now I’m here thinking I messed up BADLY, not only the error lights were on but it wouldn’t display on the screen. So again I’m on TH-cam and google trying to figure out what went wrong, just to find out I connected the HDMI to the motherboard and not the graphics card🤦🏽♂️ so when I connected HDMI to the right place, I had signal and the boot and VGA light were gone. The relief I left was amazing lol everything was working properly, no issues with the fans, no over heating or anything and for it being my first pc build ever I’m quite satisfied with it.
Funny thing something similar happened to me last week when I built my first PC. I started my PC and suddenly the fans turned off, turned out that I didn't connect it well and plugged off after a few minutes 😅
I remember when i first built my pc, i plugged everything in, hit the power button, and got nothing, realized i forgot to turn on the power supply, so i hit the power button again and my cpu fans spun to life, but nothing else, powered down and turned it on again once or twice more before going into the vack and realizing i too forgot to plug the fans in
One customer was fuming his monitor was not turning on. I figured on the phone he did not connect the monitor power cable and his response was: “I already connected the HDMI cable and it is enough… let me speak to someone who understands how computers work”. 😂
And this friends is why you never close the side panels before turning it on. Sometimes even seasoned builders forget power plugs. - personal experience
I love those it videos where the dudes trying to not lose his mind over callers being like of course my *whatever needs to he plugged in* is plugged in im not stupid
The first PC I ever built on my own wouldn't turn on when I tried plugging it in. I spent probably 2 or 3 hours going back through it with a fine-tooth comb. Checking every single connection and screw possible until I finally realized that the tiny little wire that connects the power button itself to the motherboard was like one prong off from where it was supposed to be. So I moved it slightly to the right and then suddenly my PC had power 😂
Hey Quick question, what is the best GPU for a core i5 13600 f(edit/ thanks for telling me) For 1440p gaming At $400 Trying to build a gaming PC for my sister to get her off of a 2019 gaming laptop that can barely Any semi-modern titles at 1080p without stuttering all the time. She's been wanting a desktop for a while
definitly rx 7700xt or 7800xt (but second one only if you can pay 70$ more ornwait a bit till January). Also i would recommend taking a better cpu, like 13400f/12700f, or r7 5700x/7500f, of you would want to go amd
I kind of feel like the script for all of these boils down to basically "your a dumb dumb and I'm going to show you how superior I am" I'm sure it's unintentional but if you watch them back to back it starts to get that vibe.
sir should I buy intel i513600k vs ams r5 7600x for just gaming which is prosserceor is best and with better in 1% lows in gaming at 1080p or maybe 1440p.with rx 7700xt please telll m.......
7600x is around 4 percent faster for gaming in 1440p and around 5 percent in 1080p. Also it's on am5 so that is a big plus. 13600k is better for productivity but that isnt important for you i assume. I'd go with the 7600x
Depends on your setup. newer motherboards to have additional ports for fan power. most newer fans I have seen connect to motherboard power. I have a newer pc built into a 15 year old Antec case. it has case fans that connect to the power supply and a single case fan i added that connects to the motherboard.

He is able to make cable managment but he doesn't know about case fan cables? 😭😭😭
Sad but at least he has taste.

Additionally, the fans might be using frozr technology
