This video is titled, "Snow plowing view from a road grader." It's an excellent video!! All you hear is the machine and snow plowing in action. None of the acid rock some submitters feel they must attach to their videos that ruin the entire production. So to the 12 thumbs-downers that think it's funny to do that, what were you expecting that was not delivered? If you were expecting unicorns, you're at the wrong place. Some people's kids!!!!

Another 40 or 50 hp would make so much difference on road graders in this Application with a wing on.When in high gear it sure is nice to have that extra horsepower to keep the momentum going but when the engine is lugged down or up a hill is where extra hp makes a difference.6 Wheel Dr. graders and with chains on the back the grader is hard to beat.

For some reason I just love road graders. I'd run one for free if I could find a place that'd let me.

First may I say excellent video far better than mine it looks like where you're at has a lot of snow If I may make a recommendation and I'm not sure witch side is up wind most often or the land ownership situation. But you might consider putting in snow bars on the up wind side. I know it makes a big difference when I have to do my roads and it's a big help. I can't always make it 56 miles to where they are and they have saved my but more than once. Just a thought to consider I hope that helps CAT.OP

I've never seen anybody do that before... running down the road with the V-plow raised up a foot, just taking the top off the drifts, then coming back through to clean up the remainder...
I can see where taking a heavy snow off in layers might have some advantages...

Same principle as a snow fence. That’s why they try and wing plow it as far off the road as possible.

I was surprised to learn how little Hp some of the graders have. I guess its about torque but it seems many get bogged down in drifts. Would be nice to see another 100 hp and another 500 foot pounds of torque.
