  • NOW WITH SOUND! The initial posting of this video was uploaded without any audio. How embarrassing.
Blood bath or anti-war propaganda? The last Henry VI play is brutal and sets us up for the mayhem of our grand finale Richard III. Be sure to watch parts 1 and 2 before you begin!
If you've missed the previous English History plays you can find the playlist here: • English History Plays
Looking for something other than the histories? You can find the whole list of Finger Puppet Shakespeare here:
    • Finger Puppet Shakespeare
JUST SO YOU KNOW: I had hoped to do all eight of these histories this spring, but they have been more work than I anticipated, so I think I'll make some other finger puppet productions before getting around to Richard III.
Thanks for watching, and I'd love to hear what you think of this production, and feel free to comment, like and subscribe!

I love how you say “and then things get messy” as if they hadn’t been messy right from part 1 😭

I'm so glad! I plan to keep making them at least through the summer. In September I'll start graduate work and I think I may no longer have the time to make videos with any regularity, but I'll do my best. :) Thanks for watching and commenting!

LOVE!!!!! WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD AND PRINT ALL YOUR AWESOME SHAKESPEARE CHARACTERS????? They are freaking adorable. As I've been journaling and studying Shakespeare's plays, I've started drawing little heads (like yours) in my journal, so I can keep all the characters straight. Anyway, super adorable!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Thank you so much. And about the printout: I think you're the second person to ask this-- I hadn't really thought of providing the sheet of puppets I've sketched before I color and cut them. At this point it'd be tricky do it in reverse and share a sheet of just the images of the characters... (some of these puppets change a bit in production-- aging, injuries, disguises) not to mention they're hundreds of tiny pieces of paper in little plastic baggies. But I love that you're drawing your own heads to help keep them straight!

@@booksandquestions9135 Hahaha I noticed that about the heads... some have been through some rough stuff in the play. Anyway, your art skills are really helping a lot of people "get" Shakespeare. Your dramatizations are straightforward, illustrated and no-nonsense. Thx so much!!!
