I'm a small business owner - this video is so helpful!!! I'd love to hear more on these kinds of subjects as I'm raising similar questions for my own business

I really admire the way he runs his organization. I always have an open ear to how rich people operate. At the same time I dont think I could ever work up to his standards.

Does Dave have a book on this subject? This is a great topic and details would be highly useful!

Listening to Dave Ramsey speak how he pays employees just confirms that I know I’m not cut out to work for anybody. A good plan, but never in my life well I be subject to someone else’s thought of my value. Entrepreneur for life

Why not do what any company obsessed with making money does? Pay them the bare minimum, and if they start expecting benefits, fire them and hire someone cheaper.
Or you can pay them a living wage. If you can’t afford to pay someone a living wage, don’t hire them. Maybe you could do that.

Why not just show the books to everyone? I never understood why companies try to "hide" their money from their employees. They want their full dedication, but won't offer full transparency into how much the boss actually makes?

It's a privately owned company. He can manage it however he likes. Do you share your complete financial outlook with anyone who asks? Given the size of his organization I'd venture to guess there are a great deal of lower tier employees who have no need to know of that information.

@@rcairforceone I have my own small business and while it is not the size of Ramsey's, I do post the salaries / pay rates of everyone (including me). I believe in transparency.

I agree, not knowing how much everyone else was making made me feel like I was underpaid, but then I found out how much everyone was making where I worked and felt a lot more at ease, that things are fair. I've never heard of a good reason to hide the numbers unless its for unethical purposes.
