Vajrapani Bhutadamara empowerment - H.E. the 26th Chogye Trichen. January 18, 2025

On January 18, 2025 H.E. the 26th Chogye Trichen Rinpoche (the co-head of Tsarpa sub-school of Sakya tradition) gave Vajrapani Bhutadamara empowerment. Event was requested and hosted by Sakya Friends in Nepal, translation/live-stream was made in 11 languages.

Details about Vajrapani Bhutadamara practice:
This highest tantra practice was described in the text of explanatory tantra to Hevajra called the Vajrapanjara Tantra. It comes fromthe Indian Pandita Trailokyavajra and was practiced by the founding fathers ofSakya Lineage.
Benefit of the practice:
This Vajrapani practice brings great accomplishmentsand spiritual attainments that are both common (applicable in our daily life) and supreme - related to achieving enlightenment. Additionally, all the great Sakya teachers have advised this practice to their students before entering anyretreat.
How to receive the high tantra empowerment:
Vajrapani Bhutadamara empowerment belongs to the anuttara yoga tantra. During the start of thise mpowerment since it is from the highest tantra level, not only Refuge andbodhisattva vows, as it is in case of all empowerments, but also 14 Vajrayanavows are taken (first time or strengthened or re-taken again if those vows werebroken or damaged) when the recitation lines are repeated after Rinpoche, the Vajra master. Everyone receiving this empowerment has to understand the meaning of these 14 vows and take the commitment to never break them.

H.E. the 26th Chogye Trichen Rinchen is the 26th throne holder of the Tsarpa sub-school of Sakya tradition of TibetanBuddhism. Rinpoche was born in Tibet and was chosen by Chogye Trichen Rinpoche, one of the greatest masters of Tibetan Buddhismof the twentieth century, to become one of his two successors.
Empowerment was given in the Maitreya Temple in front of the Boudha Stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal.
