JOHN SKINNER

Following in the footsteps of his great grandfather, grandfather, and father, John went to work at the Ophir Hill Mine. He started out above ground then after he turned 18 years old, John began his career as an underground miner. It was drift work that he most enjoyed and in this interview John describes how the Ophir Hill Mine was worked.
