ALF Loves A Mystery
It was an odd moment in history (the 1980s). NBC had a new batch of Sunday morning cartoons, and they created a primetime special specifically to promote it. Oh yeah, Shannen Doherty is in it, too.

Reasonable Doubts

Mark Harmon (fresh off the notoriety he got from his recurring role on Moonlighting) costarred with Marlee Matlin. He's a cop blacklisted because he ratted out corrupt cops; she's a ball-busting DA who pulls no punches and doesn't allow her deafness to affect her career.
Russian Married With Children - Cold Open and Opening Credits
มุมมอง 10K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Obviously not the best quality (I pointed a camera at a TV screen), Russian TV bought the rights to the scripts of Married With Children, and produced them often shot-for-shot. And when Fox cancelled the series in the US, it was so popular in Russia that the Russians paid the US writers to generate scripts for an additional season, so there are episodes of Married With Children (granted, in Rus...

No, this is not the movie starring Robert Redford and Brad Pitt. This was a series from the minds behind Xena: Warrior Princess, starring Linden Ashby and Allison Smith (aka Leo's daughter on West Wing) as spy hunters. It's the late 1990s, the end of the Cold War put all the old spies out of business, so they start working freelance, causing all kinds of mischief. Lots of fun guest stars from o...

Jonathan Winters starred in this show with a giant list of guest stars, including Milton Berle, Robin Williams, Martin Mull, Michael Richards, and Phyllis Diller. Segments were largely improvised, some segments were more successful than others. I don't have the entire episode, but am sharing what I have.

The Boys

Steven Bochco attempted a sitcom based in an NYPD squad-room. It featured Bill Brochtrup's character of John Irvin, so technically it was a spinoff of NYPD Blue. Additional cast members included Peter Gerety (who went on to play a cop on Homicide: Life on the Street) and Louis Ferreira (who went on to co-star in Stargate: Universe). The series was very famously cancelled after one episode... th...

Oh, wow... *much* prettier song than I had expected. I miss Tom's shows an Tom, himself... his humor, his affect, and the wonderful memories of his show and that time period in our lives. One more thing, the female police officer is strikingly pretty (and not many women attain that imho).

Would anyone describe Harlan Ellison as a Gonzo Fantasy Writer? I would, but I would also be afraid that HE would reach up from beyond the grave and smack me in the face. I will always love Harlan Ellison.

Why'd they always do this, have some guy (who's the center of the universe ofc) choose between a conventionally attractive blonde and a more homely brunette? Naturally the homely brunette gets the guy to fall for her cus she's just the better woman for reasons ..
