Star Trek isn't similar to Star Wars. Star Trek is futuristic Science Fiction; Star Wars in a fairy tale in space. They both have laser guns and space ships and that's basically where the similarities end.
No one can get mad with anyone willing to give Star Wars a fair shot. Good on ya.

Realistically bro, there is ppl that say watch in order, and ppl who think watching them prequels first is the way idk. Me personally I watched the originals first, the prequels came out way later. Either way it's a freaking amazing journey bro. Thanks
eitherway is great imo, i watched from 1 to 6 then from 4 to 3 and they both were great experiences. just need to skip 7-9

The reason that alien didnt like Luke at the bar is because its a place of outlaws and gangsters. They see droids as potential spies. Luke brought 2 droids in there with him.😂
returning to watch this. I just now watched ANOTHER reactor to this movie and i thought about how INTELLIGENT you were about this movie. Your two quotes that come to mind:
1.)The take R2 and C3pO in the sand....you: "Oh, they're junkers." YES!
2.)R2 fixes Luke fighter when it gets damaged....you: "Oh, he's a mechanic." YES!
Almost no one else gets this right away, like you did.

IMAGE EDITION :
- Edit the movie with partial % of transparency (and/or text)
- Flip the movie scene from Right to Left.
AUDIO EDITION :
- Put the volume of the movie lower than the volume of your microphone(not too low). (Statics, White noise & your comments , make little distortion to the audio)
- Record the audio of your reaction separately from the audio of the movie, that way you can mute/edit the audio/image of the movie without muting/editing the audio/image of your reaction.

Great reaction I’m glad you had fun and this is the beginning of the story. It starts with 45 and six and then goes down to 1 2 and three and. There’s also some rogue one and a solo story. Those are both between episode three and four a solo story tells about how Han Solo met Chewbacca and got the millennium falcon they’re two great movies. Watch them before you watch episode 7 8 and 9+ TV show called Mandalorian seasons 1 2 and three you will enjoy the sequel trilogy a lot better. If you watch those first, but it’s up to you just have fun Star Trek similar. I think it’s actually a little better than Star Wars but you should see them both actually thanks for the fun until next time.
It’s not something they’ll say in movies until the sequel trilogy but stormtroopers are taken while very youd and basically conditioned to be as unthinking as possible
I just love the idea that Obi-Wan detoured from what he was doing to swim around in the trash compactor and tripped Luke into the slop water just to be a jerk. That's now canon to me.
Oddly enough, binary star systems are more the norm than the single star that we have. Tattooine is a binary system. It's cool.
@28:30 ish… Plans needed to operate the death star? Where did that idea sprout from in your brain? 😂😂😂😂😂 The empire needed plans to build it and the rebels needed them figure out what makes it tick to destroy it.
Fun fact: The Chewbacca costume that the late, great Peter Mayhew wore was not supposed to get wet in the garbage compactor scene. But it did, and considering the fact that the original suit was made of yak hair, It produced a pretty funky odor.
Also: Owen Lars harvested mushrooms that grew on the moisture vaporators, which somehow collected moisture in the harsh climate of Tatooine, especially with the planet's twin suns, Tatoo I & Tatoo II.
I bet that Chewbacca custom was heavy asf too and hot lol
@@DevinGtv901 I'm willing to take that bet, but I think they switched to synthetic fur in the more recent trilogy.

Ahhhh, yes... The movie that started it all! I still remember waiting in line (3/12 hours if memory serves?!) when it came out, and it was worth every second!

Even crazier? These long lines lasted WEEKS, (Not QUITE so long, but well over an hour each time), and I/many others, repeated the experience just to see the movie again! And again. And again! heh heh heh

There are 6 real Star Wars Movies the 3 made by Disney are hot trash. Some of the spin offs Disney made are pretty good though. Rogue One, The Mandalorian, Andor etc

@@DevinGtv901 A lot of them are relatively small rocks. The Earth/Moon system is one of the largest moon-to-planet ratio at a quarter size, though Pluto-Charon is similar. Though I know Jupiter and Saturn do have some pretty big moons in their collections, but alongside their gas giants, they are still very small in proportion.

Star Wars and Star Trek are similar in that they involve spaceships flying through space. They differ in that Star Trek is set in the Milky Way Galaxy, in a future from our perspective. Star Wars is set in - as the opening caption says - "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...".
Other differences is Star Trek is definitely science fiction, with everything being loosely based on known science. Star Wars is basically a fantasy story in space, with a farm-boy Hero, his elderly Wizard Mentor, a whole ensemble of the usual types (the Lancer, the Big Guy, the comedy Duo, the Princess), an Evil Empire led by evil sorcerers, and known to be based heavily on "The Hero's Journey" in general plot beats.
Star Wars can also embrace a lot of other subgenres, like political drama, war story, romance, Western and/or Samurai tales.
This movie was the late 70s. The Cantina scene is a major show of lots of aliens to give context and make the galaxy feel lived-in.
Also, yes, there was devil guy. I heard somewhere that one of the guys in costuming was someone who had worked on other movies so he had a couple of leftover pieces that he repurposed, including a Wolfman and a Devil. I know less about the Wolfman, but the Devil became the Devaronian species. They have horns, can come in red skin, green skin and in between.
If I understand the video I watched about Star wars races, it was basically everyone did a pile of concept art and George would look through and say stuff like "That's looks cool, that looks good, maybe not for this scene but keep in the files..." because even when designs didn't end up on-screen initially, Star Wars has a history of recycling ideas that were not used previously.
Chewie does have his own language in his howls, growls and yowls. The Wookiee language is name Shyriiwook. Wookiee vocal construction does not allow them to speak Galactic Basic (i.e. what we get as English), and human vocal chords can't properly produce Shyriiwook. But that does not preclude humans and other Basic-Speakers from learning how to understand Shyriiwook, and Wookiees can easily learn to understand Basic and other humanoid languages. At worst, maybe they need a translator, whether that is a person who knows Shyriiwook, or a translator droid, in case they are talking with someone who doesn't know the language. 3
Here is the thing about Star Wars, between a table-top RPG and long years of comics and novels, practically every species in Star Wars has been explained in detail. A lot of that info is now available on Wookiepedia.

42:44 This lightsaber duel is underwhelming mostly because Sir Alec Guinness was so old. A fan nade film has remade this scene the way it should have been. It is on TH-cam called Star Wars SC 38 Reimagined.

I suspect Princess Leia hesitated shooting at the Stormtroopers because she did not want to give away her presence. I think she was content to let them walk past her and search elsewhere.

Well, the World between Worlds might allow for time travel, force healing could probably be used to increase metabolic reactions and speed up plant growth, and Force Dyads can teleport stuff to each other, so maybe they could teleport themselves to each other. Better learn that Force Luke.
