    $8.25 Million! The bad part is, that comes straight from tax payers in California. More people should call for police reform and demand that money come from the wrong doing officers' pensions and not from tax money. I bet if officers' pockets were hit when they did wrong they'd think twice about stuff like this. 😢 There are great cops out there, I know a few personally. Sad that the ones like this give everyone else a bad rep!

Nobticket just a hunch of questions about if I stole my car...where am I going.... if I have insurance...do I live in area. Several times I was stopped on the strret listed as My address on my license. Last stop I was given a ticket for asking a policeman for directions, They had blocked off street for an accident and I didnt know where O was. I very very lightly toot toit my horn because he had his back to me and I was afrsid hed step backwards into the street...He turns around I buzz my wondow diwn and say Excuse me...can you tell me...He say WHY ARE YOU TRYING TOBL RUN OVER ME!!! ...I was stunned. Who SLOWS down toots their horn to a cop in the road with their back to you puts window down stops and says Excuse me... IF YOU WANT TO RUN OVER THEM?
      I had my non verbal autistic adult son in the car who has seizures. SovI was terrified he'd ask us to get out the car because he is afraid of strangers snd being seperated from me. That ticket cost over 300$ I had Autism stickers on bumper and window. When cop saw them he said awwww shit!
      That may have stopped him from shooting in the car. Zero traffick violations.

As a white individual with a close friend who is Black American, I am deeply embarrassed by this incident. 5. Always ask for a supervisor

      @user-ir6ih9xf4l 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Point 5 is completely absurd. Why would you always call a supervisor on every interaction with police? Vast majority of police interactions are legally justified, within the boundaries of the law, calm, neutral or even positive for both sides. Requesting a supervisor without an actual issue, reasonable doubt in what the officer's doing or other concern is just wasting their and your own time. Also, as far as I know officers are not obligated to call a supervisor on citizen's request, it's meant to be help for THEM, not for you.

    • @user-ir6ih9xf4l

      Cuffing people on the front is just lack of responsibility for your own safety as an officer and the safety of other innocent people. I assume you can agree that their safety is worth more than that of the criminal. Maybe in some individual cases it's justified to cuff from the front, like with compliant, non-resisting elderly or disabled people that aren't being arrested for very serious offenses.

Most people don’t understand that being white is a different traffic stop than if you’re Brown. I’m white and the only education I have is just being born in the early 60s and living with a racist mother so just enough to know it stopped with me!

    I like how it works in Canada. If a person is injured or killed during a police action (before or after), a CIVILIAN organization investigates to see if the officers committed a crime. If they did, they get charged appropriately. While an officer is being investigated, they are suspended (with pay...union thing) until the investigation is finished. If the officer is charged and convicted, they lose their job and all of the pay that they were given from when they were suspended is owed back to the police department. They also lose their pension.
    This keeps the officers (usually) on the side of good.
