Treacle is good for the sheep. I fed the sheep with treacle and when delivered by tanker it was still warm- so I kept a jar o' treacle for gingerbread making. Not that I am good at baking - the gingerbread always sank but filled a gap!!!! Cows like treacle too. Don't miss all the mud 'n' dubs -what a nightmare with the sleet coming down. That shed will pay for its self. Fingers crossed the lambing works out well for you.. I'm sure it will be fine.

Hello Nicola & Davey in 1989/90 just down the road from you was a farm for sale not to say where but someone planted a lot of conifer trees on most of the 1400 acres of land. we could have been neighbors had we bought it.

Weather can make it so difficult. I would get some ewes in when you have the room for them and make it easier to manage them when weather is bad. Never saw molasses fed like that before but if it works for you keep doing it. Good luck with lambing.
Great video as always. Never seen molasses been fed like that too the ewes. How much feed do you give to the ewes. I started off yesterday with 250 grams per ewe and will build it up over next 6 weeks. Gimmers can be a nightmare. All go with the lambing. Chin up and keep smiling.
