The creation of a chip collection vacuum system would change the stump grinding game. It looks more possible with this design than the previous one.

If you already have a chip collection chute, why not use the rear vacuum bagger for dust collection?

I noticed that every time he took too big of a bite, the video cut to another scene. Guessing it hogged the machine down. Ventrac, do us a favor.... Lets see the video uncut!

Doing the stumps is the easy part…chasing roots all day gets old real quick!

I would love to hear that 4520 engine rpm when you take a big bite off of that stump. Killing the back round music would help

How about a forestry mulching head for the Ventrac?? I think that would be an awesome attachment!! #ventrac

The mulching head will complete the Ventrac, making it the #1 choice for medium too small land management jobs.

I now have done several stumps with my Ventrac stump grinder, and my biggest 6 foot diameter stump, showed me that the chip end, where the chips fly should be designed like a funnel, in other words, be bigger at the chip side, so that as the stump chip pile grows, (chips expand from a dense stump to a pile..quickly,) and the chips clog the chute. So on the next try, make the output end bigger by 2 fold if possible. The design is exactly the opposite of what it should be, the grinder end should be half the size of the opposite grinder end. We appreciate the feedback on the stump grinder. We are always trying to improve our products so that the end user is getting the best possible equipment Ventrac is capable of providing.

The grinder wheel really does a nice job making small chips, my diesel has no problem pulling the inertia, but the approach angle matters, since there are no side biting teeth, but then that would make the unit more expensive…the flex frame will lets the wheel grab and deflect into the stump shutting the engine down instantly, that’s more of a challenge with the old 4500 since the steering linkage heim joints are more sloppy.

I am never really impressed when someone demonstrates any cutting tool on Pine! Makes me wonder if there is a reason no Oak Stump was used!
