      Thank you for your comment. A typical run up the bay from the heads to the port of Melbourne or Geelong is around 3 hours. But it does vary to the type of ship and their service speed. Ships are normally limited in speed by the port regulations to around 17 knots. or slower in places due to the depth of water in channels and the bay itself.
