Some thoughts based on personallikes/dislikes about weapons: (1) an M24 bolt action Sniper chambered in .338 LAPUA, (2) in the simulated fight with the drones, Caine ends up two rounds short; grabbing his rifle by the barrel he clubs a drone out of the air, ( or, his M7 has a bayonet which he uses to crash and destroy the drone ) one drone left, he unsheathes his KA-BAR and jumps up stabbing it at a weak point in its' armor bring it down .
AK47 with the under barrel handle removed, a weapon that can be just as dangerous for the handler because on full auto the barrel rises up significantly. I can think of loads of better weapons to showcase.
AK-47s are not known for control on full-auto. Same thing with the M-14. With nothing to hold down that muzzle-rise, you got an anti-aircraft gun on full auto.
Never discount the 'impact' of kinetic rounds delivered with accuracy and intent!
It's also the exit wound to cope with.
