Love this razor, I’m a lefty and never had a problem. Long handle I think helps with staying put in hand. Never thought this razor felt aggressive,but it sure does make you smooth after three passes!
I bought this sledgehammer and it is an advanced razor. I own several Merkurs and this one, without a doubt, gave me the closest shave I have ever achieved. I'm sold. Not for sissies though.

I'm from Cologne, as to assume by the name, but still, Merkur for the win, I guess. Have a great and even better shave with this amazing brand! I appreciate them too, two to four times a week. I'm left handed, the handle is fine to hold. The helical knurling is a right handed "thread", using the right hand rule, where the thumb is the direction of travel and the fingers show the direction of rotation.
Another fun everyday shave with a safety razor I'll never use 😱 GFT shave cream is my new favorite. I can do a 3-pass shave with only an almond-size amount of cream. Lots of slick and creamy lather. Keep those everyday shaves coming!
I just ordered it. I should have watched the video first to order the Eucris as well. For James Bond fans the Eucris is mentioned in the novel On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and Daniel Craig uses Eucris shaving soap and shaving brush.
AMAZING smooth and confident shave with 39C - my favourite and yes. shave as normal - ignore the fact you have a slant --- better than my 34C I've had for a week? Astra blades and proper soap lather -- no razor burn just performed all stages and moisturise a lots generally as I live in Arizona dry heat anyway. AS usual, you are so entertaining and educational. Thanks. I am currently helping my 22yr son change to DE from vibrating cartridge - he is active Duty Air Force in LA who need to daily shave for duty.

I’ve been using my IMHO very aggresive Rockwell 6S another razor I favor. Yesterday I wanted to use a different razor so used my 39C and forgot how much I like this razor. I dont think its that aggressive but love this razor. Porn? LOL I get it yea. I always use Feathers. A different video guy actually thinks its a better grip for lefties due to the spirals fui. Question: do you like synthetic brushes or Badgers and why? Thanks much!!

Their razor set is considerably more expensive than I’ve seen from other razors, so I’m wondering if their quality is in line with the price. I know their soap quality is quite good, and you seem to have lots of experience in this field so I was wondering your thoughts :)
after buying this razor i decided not to buy any other razor. this one is just the best. if someone says its agressive.... edwin jagger DE89 is much more agressive than this one. this one gives you very smooth skin and its so hard to cut yourself with it. really amazing razor. it will last me all my life
@@dukamrgud1934 i did not try all you mentioned. futur is adjustable which to me seems just marketing and other advantage of this razor. to me as i said this one works perfect and i have very dense and hard beard. this thing can go through 2 weekd of growth like it goes through 3 days of growth and the result will be the same. your face will be smooth like ice. i have no intention to buy other razors just to try them because this one works fine for me

I'm left handed and have no issues with gripping this razor at all. Great razor by the way!
I mostly use stainless steel and vintage razors, but the 37c still maintains a spot in my rotation.

One thing I tend to do, is use long sweeping strokes. My technique is as rough as guts, I don't take the care required for a cut-free result.

I didn`t try this razor, only 34 HD but few times I try Mercur blades and I must say it is one of the worst blades I ever try.
After buying 34c I used their one DE blade, didn’t last long. Did order 100 blades Astra. It’s improved considerably.
