the same way you showcase the strategy of yuriko at the beginning of the video, it would be awesome to see a summary at the end of the video recapping.
I like Gitrog Monster but oh my god, just seeing one at the table makes me want to pull out the Extirpate. Hearing "discarding Dakmor Salvage" from them and knowing the next 10 minutes are going to have to be played out kinda sucks.
Some people like to argue that passing it to the strongest player or the player who is doing the best is the correct play because then there's only one player to worry about and the table can team up to stop them. This makes sense against thassa's oracle decks because you can stop dem con or tainted pact with counterspells and just have a big 3v1 counterspell war... But Gitrog is not a thassa's deck... it's a creature deck. And its triggers like dredge and sacrifice just kind of happen and are hard to stop or interact with. Creatures are already hard enough to interact with since most CEDH counterspells can't counter creatures and then on top off that the Gitrog and dredge triggers are happening in the graveyard. Interacting with an opponents' graveyard at instant speed is not something most decks can do well. So yeah, that player maybe might have kind of sold on that one.
Wrong atraxa on screen in last game. I’m glad cause for a second I thought voice was really getting played and I just had an argument with my buddy about how you can’t play that in cedh lol good content
58:00 was a misplay, instead of ending the dockside loop there and letting the combat damage go through he could have used the mana to loop Thassa's Oracle to top deck the outlet he needed (likely Spectral Sailor or Enter the Infinite) then allow the damage to go through to add it to his hand. Good games though!
This videos shows how Yuriko struggles in cedh pods...Talion is better for cedh, and Yuriko for highpower, where you dont need Tassa to win (you win by damage)
Yuriko is by far my favorite commander. I’m a budget player so one of the easiest decks to “afford” to play in cEdh. And even if it was “maxed” out…remove 5-8 cards and it is edh friendly.
@@kevintiemann6875 and we’re left with an uninteractable deck with a clock, albeit a slower one. Idk I tried to build casual yuriko and it just dumpstered every single casual table I brought it to
The B mana symbol on Blind is part of the reminder text for Extort ability. Since it exists solely as reminder text, it doesn't count towards its color identity.
That Gitrog list was so sweet, love seeing that deck do work
I really needed this today! Thank you I was home sick and needed something to help fill the time

I’m interesting in hearing more! What would you like us to discuss?
@@PlayingWithPowerMTGI love hearing mulligan choices and why to keep or not.

Why would he pass the Wishclaw to the Gitrog player who played Demonic Tutor the previous turn?

Is it just me or does Ryan sound happier and more upbeat in the old videos?
Oof
The main thing I learnt from this is y’all need better Yuriko pilots 😂😂
This was amazing, thank you for this fantastic video!!!
Game 1: Commendeer on Reanimate for a 5/5? Yeah, need way better pilots.
wait. wouldn't otawara's ability fizzle? since atraxa got blinked?
Yuriko is probably my budget cedh deck. I love bringer her out ever now and then
Yuriko is my only cEDH deck. Cant afford anything else

Went straight to comments after this misplay. I woulda just established infinite treasures, copied tasigur to draw the whole deck, then end on thassa
Loved this video frfr
51:13, bop didn't die
1:17:10 wrong Atraxa in the stack)
And in the commander name by the life totals
Another day requesting turbo derevi the one ring lists testing that in CEDH
I thought the otawara would of fizzled due to the flickering of atraxa
Yuriko is my favorite commander and this is exactly what I needed today. Thank you guys!
ooooooh do more of these
love this vid
so a definitive list of yuriko where she loses in every match....
Do K’rrik next!
Funny you should say...

Just yuriko losing like crazy. Lol I love the deck just doesn't feel like it holds up anymore.
So this nick does not have a tribal ninjas thing going on. That’s why those triggers are not hitting.
Every attack should be with a ninja!!
Anyone got the Syr Carah list from the first game?
Yo dacoochi is crazy
GODO!!!!!!
plzzz make it with rogsilas
Noah took the most convoluted line… could have made that finish quicker.
sometimes you just gotta flex, i respect it

Thats exactly the unfun part of yuriko in my op.
What 5-8 cards are you removing to make a yuriko deck not cedh? Doomsday, a few mox and free counterspells?
@@BVBridesifyer thoracle, consultation, doomsday, fast mana (chrome/diamond mox etc), rhystic study

Yuriko has been getting tons of love lately from all the cedh/edh channels . Seems planned lolol.
Wait, how was a blind obedience being played in a Shorikai list? Is that not an illegal card for it's commander color identity?
Shorikai is W/U. Blind Ob is W. No conflict.
