- In today's vlog we head to the Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival Media event! Thank you to Busch Gardens for setting us up with the lanyard to try lots of fun samples. We tried something from every booth that was open (the event hadn't technically started so not all the booths were open yet) we tried stuff we really liked and some stuff we didn't love as much but all in all it was a great event! We got to check out some of the live artists, cool topiaries and live musical acts as well. Was there anything you'd like to try at this food fest, let us know in the comments below! Hello, I am TheTimTracker. Welcome to our fun and exciting Theme Park driven life! I think it’s great that Tim and Jenn are getting free opportunities to taste test park food. I think the fact that Tim and Jenn are honest, and willing to criticize the food, is a win-win for everyone. The parks know what food items need work, and we know which ones are worth our money.
True, they won’t change the menu. But if I worked for the parks, I would have staff that watch these videos. If the criticism is that the food is stale, or not at the appropriate temperature, missing items, etc., I would be sure to address it. Such as when he said the impossible burger and regular burger were cooked with the same utensils. What can I say, I’m a state health regulator. 😏

Donny Tucker I agree. That is still really bothering me. I hope he said something to the cook.
That's why it's difficult to do these things if you have food allergy issues, lots of cross contamination.

Gwazi 2 is going to be incredible. I thought the only thing exciting happening near Orlando anytime soon was more Disney and Universal family rides, but the new Gwazi is going to be absolutely must-do. Just don't eat 12 punches of food before riding!

The food looks surprisingly good for a theme park. I graduate in 2020, maybe I'll reward myself with a trip to Busch Gardens. Gwazi looks like it will be a lot of fun. Thanks, Tim!

Taylor ham (pork roll) is from New Jersey. We eat it for breakfast all the time. It’s like a similar meat to Canadian bacon! They even have a pork roll festival every year.
Just to add some more fun facts here. Taylor Ham is a brand (kind of like how people ask for a kleenex when they need a tissue). Northern New Jersians call the meat taylor ham, while southerners call it pork roll. It is technically made from pork shoulder. I dont know why we call it ham. 🤔

I did the food and wine festival in Williamsburg's Busch Gardens and it was INCREDIBLE!! I definitely recommend taking the trip there because it was a super cool experience

Between Disney Food Festivals and Sea World/Busch Gardens I have to admit that the later wins. The portions seem to be a bit better and the quality is better as well. Disney festival foods seem to be hit or miss for the most part.

Taylor pork roll is a very South Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia food. Really salty pork. My family cooks it every Christmas, and I ate it all the time when I lived in Virginia.
If you want a REALLY good dipped Italian Beef sandwich, go to Portillos in Tampa! It’s a Chicago restaurant, best Chicago dogs and beef. And you’ve gotta try the chocolate cake shake!

In my opinion, RMC Hybrid coasters are the BEST and smoothest coaster out there!! They have a handful of them al over the US and I cannot wait to ride more!!!

Just so many cool Food and Wine Festivals there other than Disney and they really have some pretty neat food. Disney’s Food and Wine could take some lessons from these guys in terms of interesting variety

It's a thin sliced meat typicality found on breakfast sandwiches with egg and cheese on a bagel.
And it's a huge debate as too weather we call it pork roll or taylor ham
(Pork roll is correct is what it is, taylor ham is a brand.)
Taylor Ham is also incorrect, the packaging says Taylor Pork Roll.

Taylor ham is not ham, it is a pork product. It is known as pork roll. Taylor is just the brand. It is a Jersey thing. Only northern NJ calls it Taylor ham even though the package clearly states Taylor pork roll.

I wonder whether they'll rename Gwazi Park to make it fit the new ride or keep it the same as a kind of memorial. I'd prefer the latter but the former would make more sense in the public eye.
We went on the First Day, It was Super Packed. We tried the Bacon and Cheddar Hushpuppies, But they weren’t very good, I felt like they over cooked them. The Griddled Cheese Cake Was Delicious, as was the 60th Celebration Cupcake. Cupcake is Big, Glad I was with My Kids and We shared it. You guys must Make another trip to try them! 😋😋😋
