After finishing his DNB in Radiology in he did his Fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology (FVIR) and also cleared the examination of the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR). I had a IVR surgery last month by Dr. Ajit Yadav. It was worst nightmare with only local anesthesia and with full sense.. but he did it so splendid with no pain. But i was just in horror.

Sir what about hepatobiliary procedures is it done by only interventional radiologist or hepatologist/GE also doing it? And other procedures like UAE ? Any procedures done only by IR??

Most of them prefer freelancing
And they get even some get 1-2 lakhs per day depending on the number of procedures they do

Despite all the precautions int rad has radiation exposure, that puts me off! Otherwise the best specialty, pioneers of medicine.
I just want to ask you that do only interventional radiology has radiation exposure?or md radiology has also radiation exposure? If md radiology don't have any radiation exposure please confirm
