I love the fact that you can use capture in Granulator retroactively. So cool! Robert is such an inspiration! Well done for having him and giving us this interview! Much appreciated!
Thank you for setting this up. Huge takeaways. I love that: No matter how much you try to copy something, you almost always end up with a result that is unique to you as an Artist if you trust the process.
True, as long as you touch every part of the process. If you use a lot of other peoples’ loops, you need to touch them all in some way, in order to sound like yourself. I’m very serious about not using other peoples’ loops in my own work. But i’m old 🤷♂️ The fun part is making it yourself, anyway! 😉
It's ocmputer programming, nothing else. Medias and most companies use this word for money reasons, including vst devs. Best definition of AI comes from scifi authors and not engineers, which is kind of funny
1:26 Ja...für mich klingt diesee Granulater Sound "wie ein Video mit visueller Fraktal Mandelbrot Kunst an Explosionen für das gierige Auge ...nur eben für den Eargasm... auditiv ...
Did you say Monolink?? I absolutely LOVE that artist and would do anything to work with him on anything.. or just do a remix of his work. OMG.. his track remixed by ARTBAT (Return to Oz) is an instant classic that should go down in music history.
Too bad that Granulator III is not functioning really on Push 3. It would be so great if you could use the Granulator's record functionality directly in Push 3. Any alternatives to creatively mangle audio on Push 3? Otherwise great talk, thanks!
Robert Henke is the man !
Not only is he a brilliant artist, he’s the nicest guy. 🫶
For those of us who do not own Ableton or use it, @14:00 concerns the AI subject
This was a great conversation. Much love and respect to both of you 👊🎶

Great interview! Thanks to both of you for your work ♥

Love listening to Robert Henke !!! Very cool down to earth and insightful guy 💚
Inspiring... thank you! 💯
I’ve been thinking the same about AI and music since GPT came out. Love you Robert
More collabs with artist like this !

it's Monolake not Monolink, the whole Ableton project was initially built for their own live set, you can find the story on Robert Henke's blog
Monolink is awesome as well but this time I was referring to Monolake. 💯🙌🏻
