Very timely video to spruce up my workflow with the loops. I especially appreciate the showcase of new effects like roar and shifter! Thank you, Philip!
@@pickyourselfofficial Not at all! This is a great way to make it stick in the viewers' brains. You're absolutely right; people *should* be hunting for the most charming elements, to get sounds that not simply clever but also affecting. Make it your brand :)
Excellent stuff! I don’t use Ableton but all the concepts translate to Logic Pro, Reason and more. The mod over 4 bars is a great idea to make the loop sound ever shifting and not boring. Thanks for the video!
Super tips. Nicht nur die Effekte und das Warping sind nützlich, auch das Sample choppen und rearrangieren oder zumindest kleine variationen einbauen. Gutes Video :)
Do you have any tutorials on making bassloops like the one you use in this tutorial? I've been trying to make something like that and haven't found any resources to help me get there. Any form of explanation would be incredibly insightful for that minimal techno sound.
Would it be possible to get an example of a loop that it the heavy customized one, and potentially another from same loop-smith with simiar characteristics that are typical for the loop-smith in question? I am unable to identify what you mean as I am completely unamiliar with the whole loop scene
Ich würde 2 Versionen aus dem Original rausschnippseln, dann groovts evtl. noch mehr ?? Danke für die Inspiration.....ich struggle gerade mit Mukke machen von daher freshe idee ist immer gut.

Thanks dude. Charming video.
Thank you so much, great advice!!! Also shows, I really have to go back and dig deep into Ableton's stock plugins.
Dude i usually do my own Looops, but i always mangle my audio anyway, you gave me some great new ideas :)
Tell the truth! Did you make a bet about how many times you could use the word charming in a single video? Awesome as always.
Hahaha damn, need to 1up my vocabulary 😅🙈
