This FTW Championship Match was good. Hook and Brian Cage took AEW to the Extreme.

Brodie King looks like a badass juggernaut because he doesn't do hurricanranas and dives. Brian Cage just feels like a Create-a-Wrestler made by a 12 year old in the old wrestling games where you could give the same character the F5 and the 619 as finishers if you really wanted to.
It's impressive athleticism, sure, but it's also not good wrestling.
Put them both together as a team they could prob win tag titles

The tunnels are ridiculous. The whole concept of one is for babyface and one for heels is completely stupid.

Brian Cage deserves more respect and a solo run. Guy is a beast just needs a mouthpiece beside him.
He had one, he had quite a big winning streak at the start. He got x-pac heat, the end.
I really don't mind them pushing Hook. But, Brian Cage's booking has been one of the biggest failures of AEW. He's been basically a jobber since he got there.
He's the ziggler of AEW, except at the start of his career rather than the middle/end.
He had this a fluke win over Hangman a couple years ago and it's just been off and on with him since. He's built like a monster and the crowd reacts to his offense, idk why he hasn't gotten pushed

Neither really even got hit with the tacks....like if you really weren't even gonna bother getting hit with them why even use it? Damn when Randy Orton took the tacks when he fought Mick in '04 looked better than this.

I'm sorry, but Hook should not be on TV. Nepotism got him there way before he was ready. The young man has a lot of potential, but he is so green right now. Hook's timing was off multiple times in this match, and it led to clunky execution. He can't even talk in order to offset his other shortcomings. I wish him the best, but AEW isn't doing Hook any favors by putting him on live TV of their top show at his current level.
Round of applause for both competitors. Now AEW has a LOT of high risk moves from the roster. I like the innovative moves just like everyone else but they gotta tone down on them. Cage almost broke hooks neck at the 2:14 mark. He grabs him by the legs and tossed hook up and switched into a sitting reverse neck breaker. I hope no one gets seriously injured

Former team taz stablemates hook and Brian cage battling it out in a championship match that was reintroduced in the group taz managed who’s on commentary.
I would like to see Hook and Nick Wayne team together they're really good to be so young then with Martins and Andretti along with Private Party these can be some really good matches
This FTW Championship is a title where anything goes. I'm glad that AEW respects that aspect of it with these hardcore matches.

I have to give Brian Cage credit. He outweighed Hook by 120 pounds, allowed Hook to suplex him and made him look good by tapping out.

That was badass! Thumbtack spots are my favourite hardcore spots. The chokehold in the thumbtacks to win it is really cool. I think back to Ronda Rousey asking Hunter if she could end her title match at extreme rules with an arm bar in thumbtacks, such a brilliant idea to win by submission in a bed of tacks but they wouldn't let her do it, so much potential missed.
Good match. Both Hook and Brian were insanely lucky since most of those tacks were upside down lol. Those bumps would have been so nasty bro
WTF, Brain Cage eats sandwiches bigger than Hook. I know Cage is trying to put Hook over but it's just not believable. I know its entertainment but there has to be so kind of believability. I think Cage should have squashed Hook in my opinion. At this point he's jobbing to Hook, it's pretty damn pitiful. Brian Cage should be like TV champion or ROH champ or something. Not not jobbing to no damn Hook for the FTW belt. They need to do better when it comes to talent like Brian Cage.
