Colorado Music Hall of Fame Inaugural Concert- John Denver, Red Rocks

The Colorado Music Hall of Fame inaugural concert honoring John Denver and Red Rocks Amphitheater. On Earth Day, April 21st 2011.Musical guests included the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, the Boulder Philharmonic, Michael Martin Murphy and more. The night was presented by Chuck Morris of AEG, and hosted by Olivia Newton John.

The concert was fantastic and we also took a trip to Aspen to see the John Denver Sanctuary and to Snowmass to visit Windstar. What a fantastic trip. The highlight of the concert for us, was when they had the video of John singing Annie's Song at the Wildlife concert. The Philharmonic played along and then Annie came out. She was clearly moved and told the crowd that John was such a beautiful man. Wow!

What a cool tribute- I wish we could have connected more that evening- It looks like a different show from your angle but very cool all these things were happening for such a great cause- Great Banjo work Chris! I think my hands were full that night. Lets connect. Friend, Jim
