Thanks. Already do most of that. But eating before you get hungry probably a good idea just like drinking a little a lot (something I should do but don't). A spare sun hat is always in there for me or someone else, as are spare gloves for winter climbs. These could be the difference between misery and happiness.👍
A few thoughts: Awful lot of stuff in a daypack you have (trekking with porter). At lower elevations I carry only a thin mid layer and light shell jacket, one water bottle (tea shops are practically 30 minutes apart) and valuable personal effects (camera, phone, money & passport, diary etc) plus maybe sunscreen. At higher elevations add down jacket, gloves and other similar things that might be needed during stops or if weather turns nasty. Everything else is carried by porters. For this a 35 liter pack is ideal.
I have a Patagonia 800 fil down jacket (sometimes called a sweater). How does that compare with the down jackets (which seem to be bulkier than mine) that you show on your videos? Mine is very thin and light but keeps me warm.
the bulkier jackets are good for sitting around at base camp or judt easy walking. what you have is great for keeping super warm when you're active as well. What you have is great, it's a little less cumbersome :)
sachin here hey Sachin, these are the ones I used. Make sure you get one that is a little bigger than your pack so you you have some extra room www.wildearth.com.au/buy/sea-to-summit-70l-medium-ultra-sil-waterproof-pack/aplum?istCompanyId=d8409198-7d9a-4b69-8cca-04b207c3f146&istItemId=xwiqlltlxa&istBid=tzpa&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5piY9uDX1QIVyU29Ch3JuAimEAQYBCABEgJHm_D_BwE
Hey Dominic, almost all treks have tea house accommodation that is always included in a group tour or if you pay for a guide. So you won’t need it. And my experience with Asia is that it was so cheap that camping wasn’t really necessary, it’s also not setup very well at all for free camping and exploring like it is the the states or Canada UK etc.
Sorry about the music guys, I didn’t edit this video or choose the music... but, if you’re going to nepal you might as well get used to hearing it
Hey bro, if i carry a sleeping bag, do i put that on the bottom on the pack?

Hi Chase. Really helpful video. The music was distracting, and I wouldn't recommend it. What you have to say is so much more important. Thanks!

Hi Chase do you recommend bringing my tent to nepal if I plan on travelling all over asia, or do most treks include tent?
