How much do I need to make annually to qualify for $200,000 to $220,000 home? By the way I already own a home in Los Angeles. Looking to move to Sugarland.
+ali b It's more complicated than that as the decision is not solely made by annual household income alone. There are a # of factors that constitute that determination... How about we schedule a day and time for us to discuss all factors thoroughly and privately?
Hey there! Unfortunately, not a whole lot these days! For $250k I'd recommend considering areas within Houston proper as opposed to the suburbs like Sugar Land. Hi James. Sugar Land is mostly suited for suburban family life. That's not to say obviously singles don't live there, but it's not situated or established as a dating scene/vibe type of town... Mostly, any spot(s) of Houston that are considered "walkable areas" are ideal areas for dating scenes, i.e. Midtown, Uptown, Westchase District, 3rd Ward/University Area, Galleria, or the Heights are all great choices!

Hello William! Which area are you referring to exactly; Sugar Land? If that's the area, there are nuggets mentioned throughout the posted Sugar Land video about the cost of living, i.e. property tax rate, housing cost, etc. Overall, it's one of the top 3 affluent suburban areas in Houston. Feel free to lookup more about the city of Sugar Land on niche.com
My good friend even 2.2% annually is exorbitant even if you rent the place out you ll hardly recover it .... please elaborate, are there ways to pay less on the property tax annually...forgive my lack of information I m writing from overseas....Regards
Hello and thank you for the follow and comment... Property taxes in Texas and Houston are not what makes it great my friend, but you simply account for it in what you charge for rent. It's exactly what myself and the thousands of RE Investors do here everyday. Cookie cutter neighborhoods. If you're a family I can see how these communities can be appealing. I can see myself constantly driving out to Houston, Austin or galveston areas for the parties. This all coming from a single male..
Good observation... As I always say, it all depends on how you live your life, single or not. Austin is 2 1/2 to 3 hours away. Most usually fly there and you'll be there in 45 mins. Galveston is 45 minutes south of Houston, not a lot to do there unless you like to fish or go boating.
@@HoustonTexasLiving I figured driving is unavoidable in Texas. I visited Houston (Galeria area and Downtown) . Sugarland was definetly nice. I'm planning on moving mid summer 2022. Midtown was really cool and so was Tranquility park. The thrift shopping in Houston is out of this world. I don't mind venturing out so I did end up by MLK DRIVE one morning....nothing different then what I see here on the west side of Chicago..

Hi there I’m a nurse practitioner in chicago area and looking to relocate to texas because we are tired of winter, and stuck in the house though I love city of Chicago, but we need some summer in our life, the price price you are mentioning are we still able to get something close to 500 k and under thanks
Hi Sumera! Thank you for reaching out and following here on YT! Yes, while the market has changed drastically in a lot of ways over the last 2 years, there's still time to find a beautiful home in Sugar Land and other nice upscale suburban areas of Houston for $500k or less. Trust, we both do not have time to waste, so if wasn't so, I would tell you so! I highly recommend you take the time to schedule a live ZOOM call and allow me to share my screen and we look together at homes and areas of Houston on the local MLS (Multiple Listing Svc) as well as some exclusive, private and off-market listings that I have all over the city. That way I can show you, better than I can tell you! ;)

Got anything in the $200,000 range in a decent area of Sugarland?
And away from flood areas...if that is even possible

How much do I need to make annually to qualify for $200,000 to $220,000 home? By the way I already own a home in Los Angeles. Looking to move to Sugarland.
+ali b It's more complicated than that as the decision is not solely made by annual household income alone. There are a # of factors that constitute that determination... How about we schedule a day and time for us to discuss all factors thoroughly and privately?
Great video. What can you get for $250,000 in Sugarland today. Thanks so much. Awaiting your response.
Hey there! Unfortunately, not a whole lot these days! For $250k I'd recommend considering areas within Houston proper as opposed to the suburbs like Sugar Land. However, if you insist on the suburbia lifestyle, then consider Richmond, Katy, or Spring, TX for starters... Thx for the comment and the follow. What’s the dating life like in sugar land for black single males or in Houston period but more so sugar land ?

I'm actually thinking about relocating to the area cause of my profession (Pasadena). How expensive is it around there?
Hello William! Which area are you referring to exactly; Sugar Land? If that's the area, there are nuggets mentioned throughout the posted Sugar Land video about the cost of living, i.e. property tax rate, housing cost, etc. Overall, it's one of the top 3 affluent suburban areas in Houston. Feel free to lookup more about the city of Sugar Land on niche.com
@@HoustonTexasLiving how far is Sugarland from Pasadena?
@@HoustonTexasLiving and thanx
a good 30 minute drive apart.
It’s cheap in Pasadena, but they have bad air pollution due to chemical plants. I live near the area.
To answer your question pertaining to tax exemptions plainly, the answer is yes there are was for tax cuts and/or exemptions... Houses are so beautiful and affordable compared to other places, like too good to be true. What is the downside? Flooding? Property taxes?
Also, I'm looking for a place that is kid friendly. I live in Las Vegas and we don't have zoos, aquariums, theme parks, etc. Would you say Houston could be a good place for us in that regards? Thank you!
I saw a house in sugar land for 1.4 millions wow what can I do to get a house like that
Are they doing virtual online learning in Fort Bend
Great question and the answer is yes! 😃 My very own daughter has started her 9th grade freshman year here in Ft. Bend online and had to end her 8th grade yr online obviously due to Covid. She's performing very well, thank God!!!

I'm not for everyone 🤷🏾♂️
I’ve read reviews that said that Sugar Land is very racist. Along with Tomball and The Woodlands....
Hi Charsala. That's unfortunate, but I'm willing to bet if we were to look hard enough we would be able to find a review like that about almost every city in the Country. However, I can only give my personal account. Everyone has their own experience and must walk their own path. As for me, my team, family and friends, we feel there are great places to live for all of God's people... You won't catch us down in Vidor, TX though 🥴
