The pink ribbon, what a great catch!👌 And it's good to see that the F40PH doesn't already belong to the old iron! also the GP40H-3.the bilevels have one of the fanciest paint schemes they ever got. Many greets from germany✌
Not sure why anyone here would give a thumbs down? Makes no sense. It's railroading serving customers. Maybe it's time for FEC to consider rebiuilding the Overseas Railroad to Key West? Run both freight and passenger service to the all connecting islands?
Nice I miss my old home in south Florida I had a fun time seeing tri rail where I live now in north Florida I just get csx near wildwood and Ocala and Florida northern railroad
Quite a variety of action to be found around Miami if you know where to look. The F40 is cool, too bad they didn't come up with a more imaginative paint scheme.
Hey Tolga, hi from the UK! I'm visiting Miami in January 2022 all being well.....I found this video on TH-cam and it looks a great overview of action in the city. I'll only be there for maybe three days after a cruise, then flying home. Can you recommend any places to go trainwatching...I saw the Tri Level station on here which looks interesting, as it has freight and passenger working? Freight and switching is my main interest, although if I can get a passenger ride out and back somewhere that would be a good experience? I'll be getting around by public transport.....are stations safe-ish for being on for a period of time? Any other tips? Cheers, Andy.
One of the best spots is the Metrorail Transfer station in Miami. You see at least 2 trains every half hour in the afternoons, and there’s some CSX trains there in the mornings that do some switching further south. On the Florida East Coast Railway, pretty much any level crossing is a good spot for trains on that line. Most of Tri-Rail’s stations are safe, there’s security guards on weekdays and during busy times on weekends. There’s definitely a lot to see in Miami
@@HueyRailfanning thanks for taking the trouble to post and for the helpful info. It looks to me as if the Tri-Rail Metro Rail transfer station near Hialeah might be a good safe spot with a variety of things to see? Looks as if there's some freight switching there? I should be able to get there by public transport too from our hotel which is near the beach.
Hi, I'm Tom, Very impressed with the NS unit,, I am slowly switching over from steam to diesel and do not know to much about the HO sounds however I recently heard two diesels at idle and both did not sound like static. Are all model HO sound units this annoying at idle?
What is the story on the blue F40? was that one their engines rebuilt or is that a new to them acquisition or is it a leaser? Will it be painted into Tri-rail colors?
darn i came at the wrong moment lol but i’ll be sure to watch it again! great catches! Edit: Hold on, what happened there with 815 on the deadhead run? It's older numberboard is broken
I love these railcentric businesses with their curved sides and railside loading doors and docks. Seems actually economical instead of PR gimmicks like electric or biodiesel trucks which is essentially just like putting new headlights on a busted up car.
Would it be possible for you to drop a pin on Goggle Maps showing the location of the Iris interlocking and diamond between the FEC and CSX in Miami for reference ? I sure would appreciate it. Thanks!!
You should probably remove this video, or the part with the guys working, you could cost people their jobs. Some friendly advice, never record crews working, and post the videos in a public setting.
Goods catch’s of the new f40s hope you catch brightline test trains
The only time I’ve ever heard tri rail do a full horn sequence was on this video ! Nice catch
Awesome! I’m on a vacation to Florida. yesterday I caught that blue f40ph in the thumbnail which was also the first f40ph I ever caught!
Woo! What a treat, great production Tolga!
Thanks!!
@@TolgaEastCoast i have a question
Love the sound of switching industries
Me too!
Love your switching videos. Far more informative about railroading than fast run buys.
Thank you!
Very informative & well composed. & nice Aaron capture! ❤️
Thank youuu Karol!!
Great video !! 811 looks beautifull .
Thanks! I agree
I like your well done narration without superfluous comments Great video also.

Great work, Tolga! I didn't know Tri-Rail was using F-40s again!
Thanks Billy! They're not reentered fully but they have been rebuilt!

I guess what's old is what's new
Excellent video I enjoyed watching it Tolga. I am looking forward to seeing your next video.👍😃😃😃😃😃🚂🇬🇧
Thanks Tony! Hope to post one soon!

The F40PH is the most popular locomotive in mainstream non-railfan culture. (Because of a meme of using it to kill furries hehehe)
Metra F-40: finally a worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!
LOL
Great to see that type of railroading industrial getting harder to see here.
Thanks, I agree sadly it is getting hard to come by
Super shots Tolga. Hope you come back to the SFRM and film the trains
Thanks! Will do
It’s crazy they are dragging all of those hopper cars right through the station @ 11:42
Yep. Happens routinely.

nice use of graphics to let us know train’s symbol and destination, thanks
Thanks!
So thats the train game down in Florida huh.cool thank for staring
Yep!

They previously belonged to Tri-Rail and were rebuilt. They are now back for Tri-Rail, they will be wrapped and are already in service
Thanks for sharing. 🚞🚝🚉🚈🚇🚆🚅
Cool trains and how you doing today?
Nice catches
are the 500 series cab cars former Go Transit units as there ends look kinda faded green
Great videos as always. It was nice to see the 811, and is the 429 now painted black or is it a real dark blue?
Thanks Joe! The 429 is a very dark midnight blue. Trust me, there's blue on it.
I liked the horn on this it almost sound like it said hello 20:31
Nice! Lol
Yep
Is the F40ph going to get painted?
darn i came at the wrong moment lol but i’ll be sure to watch it again! great catches!
Edit: Hold on, what happened there with 815 on the deadhead run? It's older numberboard is broken
Thanks! Probably faded
I just saw some trains, and 815 now has another new numberboard there. Now it has all four new boards.
Wonder if any of the f40ph-2ls (the f40s with a front platform) will return.
Nice video tolga
Thank you!!

Agreed. Carload is quite profitable
Can you do it up in mid west or northeast?
F-40 ph still in service ? i thought all were retired
I miss the Tri-rail
Great video
Thanks!
Thank you so much for sharing. Me +230 my friend. Greetings from Dan

A 3 man crew on the first train?
🚂 excelente video
Gracias!
Nice video
Thanks!
If it wasn't for the thumbnail, I would've easily thought the F40 was CSX
Awesome
Thanks Andrew!
Good stuff here👍👍😎🇺🇸
