these are so dope. because for someone like me, i love the old final fantasy games. i always end up downloading them for my pc or an emulator. now that im older, i always get deep into them and never finish them anymore. i always restart them out of the memories and the feelings i get from hearing songs from it or things that spark my memory of it. but now, with these, i can just watch them and enjoy them as if i were playing them. im glad they are made like this. with the fights and dialog. unlike some with literally just the cgi cutscenes. thank you for helping re live those childhood vibes and memories.
Indeed, I first tried to find something similar to this on TH-cam myself and was shocked to see no one already created a video for this gem of a game. It was either terrible quality or had annoying commentary or as you said, just the CGI cutscenes so I decided I had to take actions into my own hands. I mainly created it for myself to easily rewatch any part of the game because while the story is fantastic, the gameplay is not too exciting after your 10th playthrough lol. Glad I could be of help to a fellow FFIX fan!
i love vivi and eiko!! took me a little while to get into this FF, but i did love the ending. the tone and feel of it is so much more cartoon-y/comical/silly than other FFs. and there were fewer relatable characters compared to other FFs. but Kuja is a pretty great villain.

To be honest, I couldn't figure out why I kept coming back, but this video helped me realize that while I hate the gameplay, i LOVE this story and the characters and the worldbuilding. Being able to experience all the narrative elements I love without having to force myself to experience the parts I hate has made this story feel so much better. Thank you
When this game came out I was recovering from surgery. My mom went out to buy it for me at release as I was bed-ridden. I can't remember most of the game because I was absolutely hammered on pills the whole time, lol! Thanks for making these videos so I can go through the story one more time with a clear head.
I’ve never played IX before even tho I’m a huge Final Fantasy fan and played 7, 8 and 10 in my childhood and I loved every single one of them. I just recently started to play this one on the Nintendo switch and I love it! Storywise im at 3:44:25 in this Part 2 so I just got to fly now! Great soundtrack, great characters, great storytelling, it’s just awesome. I love those old PS1 parts of the series. I don’t exactly know what’s going to happen in the end but I’m very curious to find out 😁👍🏼 thx for uploading this full movie.

Fantastically done! This is my favourite FF game by a long shot, and a lot of that is because the main protagonist isn't some emo punk with a giant chip on his shoulder haha (though I love the little mention of them both at the end), but also I loved the gameplay, the ATEs were a fun addition to keep the story going while still keeping tabs on everyone/everything that was happening, the characters were adorable without being annoying, and just the overall tone of the game is intense and deep while still being light-hearted and fun. It's a hard balance to get, but this one wins all the things.
I just realized that Mako and Mist are basically the same thing. And if we apply real world logic to IX Beatrix will be charged for crime againts humanity and Alexandria is probably getting the same treatment like Japan post-WW2 😅
