Hiya CultTVman, I never was a big Model guy but I always wanted that Vampirella kit that was advertised in the Warren mags all through the 70's. I did a s a kid have the old Aurora Frankenstein & Dracula kits of the early 70's. When I put mine together I used the Glow in the dark parts for the Dracula, cool video of these remakes though! 😉🖖
The original King Kong made a huge impresssion on Harryhausen, too. So much so that he got in touch with Willis O’Brien. I think their first production together was Mighty Joe Young. Try and do that these days. You’ll need a university degree to get your foot in the door!
I don't want to bug you as it appears you're pretty busy with these kits. I used to have in the early to mid 70s (74 to maybe 76 range) a kit that I cannot find anywhere and it's bugging me! I can't remember the name, but it was some kind of Alien Scout ship I think. The one feature of this that might ring a bell for you is it had in the middle of the body on top 2 little launch bay doors that you open and there was a little Glow-in-the-Dark miniature ship inside. I know Ron Gross who I'm friends with on Facebook was heavy into Modeling who might know but I haven't asked him about it. I think you know him if my memory of the Alpha Control Podcasts is correct, anyhow I just thought you might have an idea on this question. Thanks and Take Care! 😊🖖
Thank you so much for what you are doing.
If only you could have been around 60 years ago - but - better late than never!
Hope you have a successful and happy holidays.
Looking forward to seeing you in Chattanooga

@4:32 just wondering if you'd "turn to stone" if you built the "Medusa" model kit? Asking for a friend. 🤷🏻♂😲🗿
