This is literally the blueprint of what the world would go on to emulate, he wasn't the first but he was definitely one of the finest, sure it's basic technically to todays ears but the musicality, ear for rhythm and imagination it inspires never ages, if Whiz Kid isn't in your all time top 5 you're doing it wrong, RIP
This piece of ART belongs in a museum.Maybe the HIP HOP MUSEUM opening up in 2023 in THE BRONX. I mean this should be playing as we walk into the museum. Harold " WHIZ KID" McGuire RIP was way ahead of everyone else at that time. An ICON, LEGEND, PIONEER left us too soon. THIS IS A MASTERPIECE!!!

I had tapes of him cutting up and doing stuff which was ahead of its time!
He’s never talked about by today’s so called turntablist and it’s a shame.

peace and light,this exists in greater quality elsewhere on the web,I contacted whiz kids family and created a facebook group dedicated to this amazing dj,a few years ago,this footage plus more will be released thanks to my connection at the b.b.c.,there are a lot of 'beats and pieces 'that have yet to see the light of day,I even spoke to mc g.l.o.b.e. about it a few years ago,a lot of the hip hop cognoscenti joined the group and I managed to get excellent information on harold 'whiz kid' Maguire from his mother cora and sister tracey,and brother Michael....got the chaps at the 'beeb' to clean this up using software and computers that they use to clean up old Dr who episodes,keep he's eyes peeled...the whole story,FROM THE ROOT TO THE FRUIT,PEACE!.
