I hope Omega's voice is better in this game than it was in 06
Gommo64 Omega's voice filter was changed back to how it was before 06' (albeit with a different voice actor), so it shouldn't be a problem. He just hasn't gotten major voice work lately.

Well, Sonic is more popular in the west than in Japan (Modern Sonic anyway). Plus Forces has more of a western appeal than a Japanese appeal.

José Maria Valente Sorry, I'm not exacly sure when will the game come out but from what i've heard that the game will come on 7th november for Japan and for US november 11th im not really shure. Lucky you dude for having Nintendo Switch, Im getting the game for PC.

Weird thing to point out, but has anyone else noticed how insanely good the cinematography in the cutscenes are compared to the other games?
The characters looks so expressive and much more dynamic camera angles which what lacks with the first hedgehog engine

In all honesty I’m more hype for the story than anything else because there’s so many mysteries with every character I also want to know how it ties in with mania.

Leo Adian nah, Unleashed's graphics were ahead of its time. I'm still not sure how they managed to make the game look that good after 06. Forces will look better graphically though.
Not really, Unleashed still looks more vibrant and pushed the console to it’s limits. Forces doesn’t look bad graphically, but it barely qualifies as a PS4 game in terms of visuals.
Xcalibur64 I disagree, agree with the Unleashed part, but Forces does look like a PS4 game. You think the 360 could run this game? HAHAHA it would melt the console 100% sure.
This game does look better, go back to Unleashed then watch this trailer again. You'll see the difference.
+Made2Express I’ve already looked at both games, and Unleashed still looks better between the two. Also, as I said before, Unleashed pushed the consoles to their limits which is why the frame rate was so jittery, if they ported that game to the PS4 (or PC), then the game would run better. While Sonic Forces has good visuals, it’s not really using all of what the PS4 is capable of. Just saying.
I can smell the SA2 on this game, and it ain't a bad thing either.

I also hear it in the music. The guitar riffs in Sunset Heights and the reintroduction of vocals in stages are example. Also the use of three different playstyles to choose from is uncanny to SA2. I believe that it will be better than SA2 though.

This will be the greatest anime of all times.
At 0:19, an alternate path. (you need to do a sharp pause to see that).
People, all the other Sonic 3D games (repeating: 3D GAMES!) had multiples pathways to find. How could this one be different?
And remenber: the first levels always had a low number of pathways. They works like tutorials levels for those who never played a Sonic game. (Remember Emerald Coast, City Escape, Windmill Isle...) The number of paths gradually increases level by level.
Space Port seems to be a level 2 tutorial. Watching the Gamespot footage you see hints teaching the player how to swap between rails while grinding and how to use the wispon. That's why the stage looks so easy and linear, but I'm pretty sure that the later stages will show us a good amount of paths.

When Classic Sonic appeared, I think Tails said "Are you a Sonic from another world?!"
That single line basically confirms that Modern Sonic and Tails never met their past counterparts.
Does that mean that Sonic Forces takes place in an alternate future? The same future which Mania Sonic connected to?

1:51 Cutscenes must be rendered in real-time because of the custom character. Pre-rendering every combination of custom character customisation is a cost-prohibitive and a brain-dead solution that could take a colossal amount of disk space.

However, there is one aspect of a video game that needs CGI: Intros. They are the first to appear when you launch the game.
