Alright, thank you. It's important to have a good starting point because, after buy a bike like that, it's hard to find the proper set, considering we have to set the tires pressure, rear and front suspensions pressure, brain fade and rebound. After adjust the pressure/sag I think it's easy and fun to find the brain fade and rebound settings. I followed your instructions to set my sag and I had to add pressure to rear shock and deflate the fork. Now they are working great.
@ZULUBRAZIL the instructions in this video are the ones that our suspension technicians use and teach in our SBCU classes (for dealers). All the settings on your bike can be tweaked and adjusted depending on trail conditions and desired suspension feel. Your manual and this video just get you to a good starting point. This video will most likely get you to a better one, however, so I would follow it.
@ZULUBRAZIL We're working on getting newer, more tuning-oriented videos for current bikes. However, using your manual to find the appropriate settings you can still use all the content in the 2009 setup videos to properly setup any bike regardless of make or year.
My 2010 S-Works Epic Carbon rear shock manual (Fox - IV Inertia Valve) just said to "Turn the Brain Fade™ and rebound adjustment knobs all the way counterclockwise, to their minimum position" , but dont say to back it some revolutions like you. Which one should I choose? Thanks
