All three had me falling out of my chair, and in this clip, I was equally floored. Lol! Bravo, Mark, bravo, Michael! We need you both on this side of the pond! 500 stars!!! :)

He was FANTASTIC to work with. Right from the very first rehearsal (yes, we rehearsed that crazy number) he said "Do whatever you want, Bob. GO FOR IT!" ...and lemme tell ya, they don't often say that when you're doing a guest spot on someone's big show!
But the thing is, he was superb to work with - he told me at rehearsal to “just GO FOR IT. Do anything you like.” That’s what you want from a fellow comedian - he was a total pro
I've been binging all his stuff recently after being reminded of him by a friend last weekend, I adored him as a kid, my Mum used to call him 'my mate' whenever he was on TV! & Now I'm 32 and I still think he's such an adorable, funny little thing. Bob I mean, not Michael (although I do like Michael) Really though, how much would you just love to have a friend like Bob Downe?
This is how I remember Bob. With the very rigid wig that looked like it was made of bare fibreglass and the safari suits. I saw Bob tonight on a tribute show for Paul O Grady and like a lot of us, he looks so different now he's got old. 😁

You know what? HE LOVED EVERY MINUTE. Right from the moment I met him, he told me he loved Bob and said "Just do anything you want, I'll play along." Which is exactly what happened. Nothing more freeing or delightful for a comedian to be given that opportunity - and it only ever happens when the star is ALSO a first rate comedian, which Barrymore was at that time.
Love Bob Down, he steals the show - poor Barrymore, not funny then. Not funny now. Just seen the clip of Susan Boyle again. on one of his things. Barrymore cringe worthy - aaaggghh
