  • macmost.com/e-2908 If you need to have multiple page sizes in a single document, like vertical and horizontal pages, you must first create the different page sizes in separate documents in Pages. Then you can combine them in Preview.

Another super-useful tutorial, Gary. And so clearly explained. Another one I've added to my Saved list! Thank you!

Very useful, Gary, shame that Pages doesn't permit this functionality, but this is a great way round the problem. Thank you.

Good work around - Thx! What I was doing prior was to do a screen print or export page to JPG and then insert it into my Pages document then rotate 90 degrees. The only reason Iw as doing his was to preserve my footer of page x of y without splitting into new sections.

Thanks Gary. You mentioned this will work with any app that allows you to export as PDF. In fact that is any app that allows you to print since you can create PDF using that option.

    Hi Gary,
I frequently have to insert a page (or more ) into a PDF but I have always used the File - Insert function. I noticed you didn't show that feature BUT I would like to thank you for showing the drag and drop and copy and paste as I hadn't realised Preview would allow me to add extra pdf pages in this way. Please can you do a tutorial about flattening a pdf file. I have to have pdf files printed each month by a commercial company and sometimes they are delayed as my file needs flattening. Can you offer hints please.

Question for shortcuts app, Can i apply a keyboard button sequence to be done? Like not using the keyboard shorcut to run the shortcut , but using the shortcut to run the keyboard sequence

Note easily. You can do some scripting, but it is imperfect. Keyboard Maestro does a much better job of it.

Thanks for the tutorial, however I've noticed that recently it formats the page to the default size of the document when adding. Any ideas on how to make sure this doesn't happen? Might've been a change in the new operating systems

This is a fairly recent video. Plus I just tried it, combining an 8.5x11 and an 11x8.5 in Preview and had no issues.

Did you figure out your problem? I got an email notification that you posted a comment here, but it looks like you removed it (or TH-cam deleted it). I hadn't received anything from you before. Where did you ask me before? The proper place to ask me questions is at macmost.com/ask Thanks.

I rarely write and don’t know why my comment/question got deleted.
      I will just contact AppleCare.

Word is better at managing that in a single document
