Yea, I've always loved those games where hurt our self is the way to victory hahaha. More than a mechanism, I think it is the dynamic? Or a constrain in the game? Other example is Lost Expedition (similar to allies, to win a card something bad happen) or even Under falling sky, where the dice give u strong power but the alliens will fall as fast as strong is the dice. Paleo and superhot both also have similar dinamics. I could even say welcome to perfect home, the solo mode, where you choose your cards and the card that gave points to the automa, but not sure if this will count.
Ooh this is cool, I will check it out on Spiel. What is this mechanic called? I wanna check other games with similar mechanic but BGG only listed Cooperative and Solo mechanics for this game.
Thank you so much for making this video. After working with you for so many years, it means a lot to me to see you talk about my "baby" :).
It was really neat to see your design style come to life in a game all of your own! :)
Love this game's mechanism too. Played it several time, as well as with the expansions found in the box. Want to see more of these.
I'm happy that you like it 🙂
If it sells well enough, we might publish an expansion. We left a lot of ideas on the cutting room floor.

Wait, does the Huldra/skogsrå HURT the forest!? Huh, I guess Gamle Erik/hin håle must really have corrupted it then.
It does! It also helps you once you can actually play the card, though.

That's a good question...I'm not sure what to call it!
@@jameystegmaier You used the word "mischievous" Jamey, maybe the mechanism should be called "mischievous allies" or "mischievous cards" :).
Nice t-shirt - Thinker Themer?
Good eye! :)
