    Mack - too much homework! Could have been 5 videos!
    1)Coach: Chris Quinn for a swing seems interesting - Kenny Atkinson if want some head coaching experience
    2) DG should go if Spida stays - fit in style and salary is tough with Spida
    3) J.A. - Should stay - but only if new coach can get Evan, Okoro and Dean to shoot with no fear - they should be afraid NOT to shoot
    4) Look at other teams LUSTING for Spida throwing every young player and pick they have - yeah - it was worth it because his value is still sky high
    4) Okoro - about 15 mil contract - but needs coaching to let him use his whole bag offensively - if he was moving offensively - would look like a different player

      I still believe Okoro can turn into a great NBA player. He may not become a superstar, but a top 3 and D player is certainly attainable. And he seems like a great locker room/glue guy. I really hope resigning him is in the Cavs plans.

    1st question- I would love for us to find a coach with great guard knowledge like Steve Kerr, Jason Kidd to help gel Mitchell and Garland. I believer the potential is title worthy and worth the commitment. I don't have anyone in mind yet that fits that mold. Steve Nash didn't seem ready but he also had 3 primadonnas at least at that time to deal with.

    Only understandable reason for this front office not getting out there right after the season, is Koby is being replaced and has no voice now.
    Quinn makes a lot of sense in many respects and has been under Spo for awhile. I also might take a flier on Micah Nori
    I can live with a roster overhaul that was done by someone other than Koby, assuming they get an upgrade and not just a replacement level loser. I can't trust Koby to do anything right at this point

    Can’t think of a time in the last 30 years where two 6’1-ish” G’s was a starting backcourt combination for a champion. But you can’t just give away DG just for height. Whoever gets the best value for return; go for it.
    Mitchell wasn’t worth three players and three firsts. It’s really a seven year trade because they will have to be very good to great the next five seasons because they have nothing coming back (very little) on the team in the draft and the worse the team does the worse this trade looks. Maybe you could have flipped Sexton for a serviceable SF or got something very good for Mark.
    Okoro would be fine to bring back. Can’t see paying him more than 11-12 over 3-4. Niang was a horrible addition. 8 mil per wasted. They should have put that money toward a swing PF/C. As it stands now If like to see what Jaxson Hayes gets if he’s on the market.

    As far as J.B. goes, I have more questions than answers. Has he 'lost the team' as some suggest? Does he just need some new assistants? Are there any young dynamic assistant coaches or college coaches that could replace him and be a fit with this team? I remember Mike D'Antoni was a great coach but he is in his 70's now, does he have the juice to drive this team? I just don't know enough about current day coaches to recommend one.
    Regarding Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen; I watched the Indiana Pacers defeat a dogged, back-against- the-wall Knicks team (who the Cavs would never have beaten) with an off the bench T.J. McConnell, who, though not as talented as Darius, played with a serious ferocity which is exactly what is needed in the playoffs, and what Darius seems to lack. Trade him, and give him a fresh start with another team. Maybe that will impress upon him the need to become more mature, more serious.
    Jarrett Allen is a super talented player, and whether he starts, comes off the bench, plays the four or the five, the Cavs need to find a way to keep him in the mix. Maybe a new coach can figure out how to deploy him properly.
    The price the Cavs paid for Donovan Mitchell was high, but in the end he was worth it. Cavs need to find a way to keep him and build around him.

    I am surprised there are still some that think DG and Mitchell are both returning. Even if they could figure out how to make it work in the playoffs, when healthy.
    Mobley is going to extend most likely this summer, and his odds of getting all nba or eve winning DPOY are legitimate next season. If they also hire a better offense coach and move Allen, it makes it even more likely the Rose Rule kicks in. They will have also extended Mitchell of they traded DG etc.
    This roster is going to be different good or bad, they cannot go into higher tax brackets without a real chance at contending.

  • @monamoreland6065
    @monamoreland6065 24 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    Defensively Mobley hasn't been held back. Offense is a team effort too His three-point attempts might go up just because he will be less involved with DG's over thought feeds. In out faking the competition he also has his own bigs being less consistent in finishing smoothly. If you want the 245/250 lb. bull dozer unicorn, ralistically that's going to take at least two more years or you would question why would any big want to put on that much weight having a knee clean out already. DG could do the fouled act while shooting and get foul calls and continuations with the best of them in 2021/2022 season.

    Altman has never effectively solved the biggest need of a legit Jaden McDaniels archetype. The Cavs still don't have a Naz Reed type that is highly aggressive, beast, yet a smooth shooter at the 4/5.
    DG to the Wolves rumor isn't getting him either of those guys, not only because he is paid more than both combined, but because after his lackluster season under JB. I would guess he might not get them more than an expriing like Ingram who won't be more than a rental.
    JB has killed Garland's trade value, forcing them to play together, and Altman probably was pushing him to do it.
    Mitchell getting traded, might be the only way Koby could put a team on the floor, that is almost as good as the past two seasons. Now if Gilbert gets a better gm, and they are able to move Allen and DG to get enough value back to satisfy Mitchell reasons to extend, and better fits top to bottom. Then maybe this thing is saved before it is a dumpster fire.

    IMO, Altman needs to balance out the roster first, THEN we'll see what the HC can do. DG & DM, and JA & EM are log jams in both the front & back court. If Mitchel extends, move Garland & possibly Jarrett Allen for more off ball players that will pair much better with Mitchell & Mobley. Players like Mikal Bridges & Myles Turner. Not necessarily THOSE players, but ones more in that mold. Then we'll see what kind of a coaching job Bickerstaff can do with a better constructed roster.

    Go get herro, jaquez and those draft picks improve your team as whole. Spida is good but he won't win you a championship with the way this team is constructed

    Bickerstaff needs to go IMO. To me, that is the biggest answer that needs to be addressed. He lacks situational awareness during games and is slow to make in game adjustments if he does at all. His bench rotation often makes no sense and I don't think he motivates his players to get the most out of them.I like Wade and think he has a lot of untapped potential. What he did in the 4th quarter against the Celtics with like 20 straight points and hitting like seven 3's is what he is capable of.!I think the Cavs should do all they can to keep Mitchell but I don't see that happening because it became pretty obvious that he could put up 40 points and the Cavs still loose by double digits. He needs help and I think the only way they can keep Mitchell is by bringing in another big time player. I don't know what kind of cap space the Cavs have and what contracts they are locked into and which ones they can drop. If there is a way to get rid of Garland and save his cap space, I would do it in a heartbeat. He played better without Mitchell not on the court and struggled playing with him. Hire a capable head coach that Mitchell would want to stay for and knows how to motivate his players.

    No the trade wasn’t worth it. I’m a big fan of building through the draft. Was no rush to this rebuild. We were slowly cooking a good team, then we make a trade, giving away our future Lille we were one player away. With the team we had we could’ve made it out the first round.

    I think the Mobley and Allen thing is lazy because they stagger minutes and injuries. The real issue is Garlands inconsistency and also lack of wing. If we can finesse Jeremy Grant and Kuz while also trading DG and Niang and Vert, sign me up

    @TheBickster74 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

    A better coach could and would take that roster to the Finals. We're stacked and yet very weak in the playoffs. And possibly move Allen not Garland , so Mobley can become the dominant force he's capable of.

  • @TuneNSports
    @TuneNSports 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Okoro one of the best on ball defenders problem is the offense but I’ll be willing to keep him can’t lose defense & we traded for a superstar who’s all about winning & we more relevant now I’ll say it’s worth it & I don’t think him & dg fit the best & also being a very small back court & I think JA & Mobley do work together but we probably won’t see Mobley full potential

  • @WuShocks
    @WuShocks 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

    What about Frank Vogel? No, DG and Spida can't work and that's unfortunate. We could get a nice haul for Allen and put EM at the 5 while putting more shooting out there. We are actually in a very good situation here as long as our FO doesn't screw it up. No, the trade has not been worth it and we should have never done it #LetEmKnow

  • @loscrap
    @loscrap 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Jarrett and Mobley should stay together, same for SpidaLand, but we need another coach, Chris Quinn should be perfect, or Kenny Atkinson is a solid one. Bickerstaff can be only a top assistant coach. Then, Spida trade, I said it 2 years ago, hasn't been good for us because he is older than our prospects who in this way lost their chance to grow. Garland had an involution. Then, we have too guards, I can't consider anymore Max Strus a 3 or Okoro a 3, so I think we have to do a sign and trade. Okoro has still chances to improve, but we have that 2 spot filled with Mitchell, and he can't shoot. So if we want to play with him, I can't offer more than 10 millions

    It seems the Cavs have plateaued this year and perhaps even took a step back. The backcourt of DM and Garland do NOT work. Garland is a liability. Can DM's knees hold up??? Too many Cavs players get hurt each year. Bickerstaff is ok, but he's not going to get us any further than 1st or 2nd round in the playoffs.

    If you watch Nuggets vs Timberwolves series then you know Cavs don't have nearly enough to compete for championships. Guys like Okoro, Niang, and Levert can't even be on your team.
