Yes we have been watching this closely. I have 2 900 MHz repeaters as well as the Meshtastic....so right now a little concerned about the potential to lose this......and as normal I have seen nothing from the ARRL on it......I hope they are on this and I am just missing the information.
Nice antenna design presentation. Ok. Sam wants Field Day rules changed, JD wants more evidence of humanity than digimodes provide, Greg wants other hams to use sideband more, Andrea wants hams to call CQ more/require less online assistance and a viewer comments that we should take sides on this divisive issue. So stop and smell a rose by any other name still smells as sweet. Call it what you want but radioactivity is fun.
Meshtastic is one of the few times I recommend staying with the attached antenna - the low power incoming and outgoing can be consumed by even a short length of feed line.. I agree with you on N's and in past episodes we have gone over connectors, impedance, insertion loss, etc.
yep I do what greg has with grounding surge protectors aka polyphasers and still unplug during lightning storms or when not in use like sam mentions
OMG Sam!!!!!!! she's actually here. I can't believe it LOL :)
yep ga copper is good its upstate from me
im from the south we might mispronounce eff tea ate :)
the chocolate mint crawled away LOL
lol poor Andrea the motor lodge sounds like a bad place LOL
chainsaw massacre, hotel california, maybe psycho LOL
She has more adventures a month then most of us do in a life time :)
fcc wants to take away 900 MHz. be sure the lora wans you have don't use 900mhz. will this be an issue?

We are q diverse group
Ummm.....N connector typically good to 11GHz, SMA up to 18GHz. N can carry more power, but for Meshtastic, the power is negligible.
