The best review ever. This Extreme MP is my racquet of choice since last month and I can't agree more on most of the stuff you guys said in this video. It is powerful, demands an "extreme" topspin game from the baseline if you want your shots to land inside the baseline. Because of the big head, wide 16x19 pattern and high launch head the balls easily go over the net but you must be careful not to hit the fence. It suits me perfectely since I play on clay with spanish style groundstrokes (culprit of starting playing tennis in late '80s, later influenced by Bruguera and Berasategui). I think it is not that good for net game, especially for overheads because it is too light in the hand, mishits are often. Serves are great, as the guys mentioned, you can serve bombs with it. For the looks, I put on it neon yellow overgrip and yellow string - all that yellowness flying around delivering extreme topspin just annoys the opponents ha ha ha! I just ordered this racket Up till now I’ve. Even playing with a wooden Wilson racket from like the 70s or 80s It’s in new condition but it’s small and I keep hitting the edge of the racket Looks like I made a good choice based on y’all’s review

Can you guys make a video on how you judge if a racquet has too much power? I mean, in theory all you need is to add more spin to your shots to control a higher launch angle... what am I missing?
You're right if the racket is really powerful you can compensate by applying more topspin and if you're into spin, it can really benefit you. Now what if your playstyle is fully flat, or if it is like mine (Grisha) where the forehand has some spin and the backhand is flat. Changing my playstyle to fit a racket isn't exactly a good idea. Therefore I'll look at a different racket that is less powerful. That doesn't mean I can't play with a powerful racket but it's not gonna feel too good. Especially when I'm doing an approach and the ball flies to the fence 😂

I have noticed that my backhand is flat as well and my forehand has some spin but when I play with my pure aero on approach shots or on high short balls my instinct is just to slam it flat and of course it sometimes flies to the back fence because I don’t put enough spin on it… which is kind of annoying. As for my play style I am more of a baseline counter puncher…I love playing from the baseline dictating play with heavy top spin balls and getting all balls in when in defensive mode and the pure aero really helps me with that aspect but as soon as I start playing too aggressive that’s when I feel I lack control… what do you think I should do?
I (Grisha) wouldn't say that it's impossible to play aggressive with the Aero (Check out our review if you're interested 😉). If you're not used to playing aggressive, wherever you try, you'll feel out of place. My advice would just be: try to do it more! If the balls are flying to the fence on approaches, my guess would be that you're letting the ball go behind you, as you're excited to hit the ball strong and don't focus on the hitting spot. Make sure that wherever you come in contact with the ball, especially on approaches you do it in front of yourself.
Definitely not the Aero or Extreme! Maybe consider something like the Head Gravity Pro or Wilson Pro Staff v13, Head Prestige, Wilson Blade. These are more fitting for a flat kind of game style.
I like your videos alot but I wish you can make different videos not only reviewing rackets I mean the day in the life of a professional tennis player video it was pretty good 😉
