Nice review. I'm picking one up next month. Used to have an CR250 2 stroke that I rode pretty hard. I'm 48 and haven't ridden a dirt bike in 17 years. The days of me jumping and riding like a wild man are over! I got my sons, 8 and 9 a CRF80 and CRF110f. They want me to get a bike to ride with them. I think this bike will be great for me to have fun with them on the trails.
I don’t think you will be disappointed. I have a 7 year old that rides a 70cc, he is able to follow me through the trails just fine, one of the reasons I wanted the crf250f.
Picking up one of these beauties tomorrow! I used to ride a 2003 Yamaha Yz125cc and it rides nice but way to loud and not good for the long trips I want to do. It also chugs way to much gas! I am going to love this new Crf250 as it reaches 65-70MPH casually and I don't need to worry about my bike blowing up 20+ miles away from home! This bike is probably the best trail bike you can get. It's quite and reliable. Thanks for the review!
I have this bike 2020 model and it is my first ever bike ive ridden and owned. I’ve learned so much in so little time. Very super easy and fun to ride. I put new bars bc mine bent when I fell and dropped it in mud lol cheap bars. Also put the Yoshi rs2 and it BARKS! More power and better sounds. Only have 35hours but it’s a tank.

I'm waiting for my dealer to get one in. I'm 52 years old and 5' 7" so I really like that the seat height is not 37.8" like all the race bikes! look forward to getting one and a CRF125FB for my 15 year old daughter, hopefully lots of fun and memorable times ahead! Great video, thanks!
First of all thanks for watching! I think you will really enjoy the bike. I have a 7 year old, he rides a 70cc and the 250f works great for when we ride together, not too fast not too slow. I would imagine the 125FB will even be better along side the 250F. I look forward to when my son is old enough to have a bigger bike so that we could go on longer treks together. Atvs and dirt bikes are in my opinion one of the best ways for parents and children to bond!
Honda got this 90% right. It needs suspension travel to match the front, doesn't have be an inverted fork, but better than what's on it. It needs a headlight; it's a trail bike after all. Give it an XR decal, because, let's face it, that's really what it is.
Nice review. I've been thinking about getting one of those for over a year, but haven't done it yet. I'm still riding my old Suzuki DRZ125L and kind of thinking about getting something a little bigger, and that Honda looks so good!
I kept mine when I got my cr125. Never have to do anything to it such a good reliable bike. Yea I wanna get a 450 or 250 2 stroke but I still love my 250f
I am looking for a bike after not riding since high school. The seat height seems about right for me. I am only 160 pounds and the ? suspension would carry me OK I think? The fuel injection is a must for me because I will be riding at an altitude of 6400 to 8400 feet. I will not deal with carburetors in this day and age!

The risers made a noticeable difference.
Im sure you would be fine with smaller jumps. However the bike is fairly heavy which can result in bottoming out under its own weight regardless of the weight of the rider. But I think you’d be fine taking on smaller jumps.
my partner and I are about to buy two of these. He is a beginner and I have some motocross experience. I feel the bike will be perfect for him but I worry about if I will be happy with it. For one I will absolutely need to send the suspension off to get stiffer springs and hopefully it can be revalved otherwise Its a no go for me. I like to ride a little hard from time to time and clearing some jumps without breaking my wrists would be important lol... thanks for the review!
Depending on your weight jumping the crf250f in stock form may or may not be a good idea lol. It’s definitely not setup for that type of riding, more suitable for the trails. As far as power, if your wanting to really rip, you may need to make some modifications to the engine. I’m not sure what all you could do to make it more peppy, maybe a different cam, air box mod, exhaust or some type of tuner since it’s fuel injection. I’m sure there are some options out there.

Absolutely! I’m 6’0 230lbs and the bike works great for me. I might suggest with your height to put on some handlebar risers, just so your not leaning down into the bars as much. But other than that I think you would really like the bike. I do mostly trail riding and the bike pulls me with no problems, comfortable enough to putt around and enough speed to satisfy the urge to go fast. Not too powerful, not too weak, just right!

I don’t think so. The lower seat height makes the bike appear to be smaller than it really is. Once on the bike and riding, I don’t think you will have any issues.
