Ding Yang's act on Fool Us was the most mind-blowing, incredible thing I think I've ever seen on TV. I was floored. She is beyond talented.
I watched Ding Yang on Fool Us and came here to find a video of her performance, just so I could say how wonderful it was! Every moment was exquisite and beautiful and as close to flawless as I've seen. What an amazing act! Even though dove magic can only be done so many ways, and I always had a pretty good idea what she was doing, it didn't matter. It was a beautiful experience that brought some tears to my eyes. I loved every second of it. I've never seen Ding Yang before, but you can bet I'll be keeping an eye out for more of her performances. I'm going to follow this channel as well!

She is second magician in 10 seasons for which I have clapped while watching her perfomance at home alone. It just felt apropriate.

I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of magic routines which are not only skillful and mystifying, but also beautiful and artistically satisfying. This is one of them - so well thought out and constructed and simply exquisite!
I also loved watching Teller being seriously impressed. And, It's not often that a translator so nearly steals the show.

ciao Glyn, I am working on two massive Magical Women projects that have consumed all my time lately. With everyone back to work and the magicians preferring to upload the magic content onto their own websites, there has been less for me 'to play with' for our channel. The amazing way Ding Yang was making the doves appear got my vote for "Fool Us". Not sure how Penn & Teller weren't fooled by her dove magic.
Dove magic is not exactly original.
WOW! That's the first time I've ever seen antipodism (foot-juggling) combined with dove materialization. Truly innovative! Was she trained by Ma Yan Yan the ballerina magician?
So happy to read your comment. Before magic, Ding was an acrobatic contortionist in the Chinese circus. In China, magic and circuses are very closely linked and it is normal to see female magicians performing in the circuses there. In 2009, Ding began working on a new magic act with Chinese magician Wang Qimo. For this FISM awarded act she had FISM winners Juliana Chen & Greg Frewin as mentors.

Wonderful act! I feel sorry for the magicians who get to perform after her with another variant of cup and balls or card matrix.
If she ever performed in NYC and I had enough money for a ticket, I would go see her.
Her live performance is wonderful, you almost can't believe what you are seeing
Dear Penn, I've been a fan of you and teller for more than 20 years but I must correct one mistake you have persisted in making all those years. Ding Yang is marvelous and beautiful but her companion is not a translator!! She is an interpretor. Best regards,
