Lookup Dom Tomato the free runner on here. He does some crazy flips from like 27 feet up and rolls out of it. I think this skater is taking a page out of the free runner book.

Actually it probably hurts more but looks cooler to do what he does. The first part of his fall is great because he cushions himself well but popping himself up with his back is a move I’ve done countless times and it hurts more than just keeping on rolling and coming to a stop on the floor.
learning how to fall properly like this has saved my life, theres been times wehre i should have broken multiple bones,falling from 10-15ft, but i learned to roll out like this. one of the best ways to protect yourself without a helmet

The basic thing of falling is tuck your arm and roll to absob the impact smoothly. I fall from my board the same as that but it end in the roll Nakel do the same technic but maybe he give an extra kick to roll and stand up like that
