  • So often enough people ask me 'Kharrma, What are you favorite games, and why?' I thought it would be ideal to elaborate! Why is the Dead Money DLC of Fallout New Vegas so important to me that it makes me cry, just thinking about it, talking about it, looking at cinematics from it? Oh well, here it is! Please enjoy, if you too, love any kind of video game like this, I hope you can relate! Or better yet, if you're looking for a reason to live- like I have been long ago, as a lonely kid, you may too find a reason to Begin Again.
I just want to thank the forces that are out there in the universe that allowed me to be born at a time I could experience this game and let it impact my life in such a strong manner. That's all!
Also, Once I was done editing this I realized I had a bunch of tabs open on my laptop (I don't usually when I'm livestreaming lol) so that's probably the likely culprit of some of the audio hiccups, my obs doesnt usually act funny like that but I'm sure the CPU was tripping out with my facecam being on plus VTS and recording. But the capture card likes to be funky sometimes too since it's AGING on me haha.

The DLCs are those rare gems that take time to admire. There's nothing wrong with being emotional in response to media and it's nice to see people cherish these parts of the game.
For me, it was Old World Blues. When all the characters chime in to recite their lines one after the other with the solemn haunting music playing, it drew out an emotional response from me. But it hit me much harder as I was growing up and I began to fully understand the 'old world blues' concept of clinging to the past while struggling to cope with the future.
Dead Money took me a long time to warm up to because, like yourself, I was quite young when I played it. Too young to understand the theme of 'letting go' but now that I'm a bit wiser in years, it really sunk in. And nearly got me as emotional.
Honest Hearts also got me because I resonated with the two missionaries and their respective struggles alongside Zion tribals.
Lonesome Road is still a journey for me but I suppose that adds a poetic flair to it. It's a long road that seems endless and I'm still walking it, trying to figure it out - I see the end of the road but it's taking a long time to get there.
Beating the DLCs and going through the endings, I think, adds more gravitas to the main game ending. But that's just me.

Yes definitely. I dont know how much I would truly love FNV without all these DLCs. What you said about the end of Old World Blues struct a chord with me too because I recently completed that one as well, as yeah that final cutscene for that one talking about having the blues for things in the past, sometimes seemingly unable to move forward to the future. The depth and beauty of these stories have been so unmatched by almost any other game I've played. So blessed to have experienced this, timelessly, surrounded by people who enjoy it as much as I!

I remember playing Dead Money when I was 11 or 12 and I absolutely HATED IT LMAO. As an adult, I now love it. The atmosphere, tone, story, characters, the entire premise, all the way up to Elijah’s final transmission and hologram Vera’s dialogue. Glad you have a game that means so much to you.

I understand, I think we all have a game, or a TV show, music, that tears at our heart strings and has gotten us through life, the hard times and the good, and just makes us cry like babies, maybe because we're so grateful and happy that we have something to always turn back to.Thanks for sharing!! 💜

I played New Vegas wrong the first time. I rushed through everything, didn't put effort into the side objectives, skipped parts of the main story. Then blitzed the DLCs as quickly as possible and not paying attention to side objectives or caring about the characters.... Until I went back and played again after getting to the point where Ulysses gets you to launch the nuke in Lonesome Road and he basically makes you feel like shit for blindly just following quest objectives. It made me go back and appreciate everything i was doing and even the choice of not doing some things. Old world blues is still my favorite now that ive taken the time to do all the side content of the DLCs, but I think my appreciation and renewed love for the game came from Lonesome Road.

It least you're also a lady/vtuber. Guys are looked at as weak and less desirable if we cry. 😂 Lol, we support your tears! Your happiness matters! Thanks for sharing! I am a big softy! Omg you didn't warn us about spoilers rude! I'm watching the show with my gf.

Just because society has stupid double standards, doesn't make them true! I know a lot of guys who have shed tears infront of me, both happy and sad who I respect a lot and a lot of other people also love when men show their soft side as well! Just as some people will find me being annoying anyways, I know so many kids in school who made fun of me for acting exactly the way I am on this video but the difference is i grew up and stayed young and joyful at heart and most of them I've seen have grown to be bitter and having no fun!

I'm a vtuber. Vtube models work off of facial recognition from a camera. The whole point is the character is me and I am the character, she is working as intended!
