Lion King did the best thing in her circumstances. She wasn't arrogant, just a little out of touch with her humanity, due to her gaining divinity. Gilgamesh on the other hand, she is nothing like him.

Ignore the one you commented as that talk is mostly about the Servant Lancer class. A whole different version of Artoria that has grown to a full adult. The one here shown in the vid from the movie is the Lion King. This is Artoria from a parallel world. In a timeline where she supposed to die after the Battle of Camlann. But that never happened due to the wish of Bedivere never wanting his king to die and do so refused to throw the Excalibur back to the lake. Once he goes back to see his king, the body of Artoria laying at the tree wasn't there at all. What he didn't know was a consequences of his action. The king's wounds were healed by her holy spear Rhongomyniad but at the process of eroding her humanity and ascended into a Divine Spirit. For 1500 years, she became a wandering ghost that was fated to roam her Earth til the end of time. Once her original reality was destroyed, she traveled across many parallel realities beyond until she discovered the Mage King Solomon's plan to incinerate humanity in the Fate/Grand Order timeline. Saber here is technically the Saber we know and loved. But she has ascended into a Divine Spirit, a being that is inhuman and derived little if any emotion left in her. She has lost all sight of human value and reason. She does not see the value of human life, only seeing value of humanity as a whole. She believes her means of freezing and storing purely good human souls to preserve humanity eternally is the ideal of protecting them and bringing them happiness. She is a tyrant yes but not to her as she cannot understand humanity any longer.
Y'know...the whole Fate series is kinda f***ed up anyways. There's no single timeline. Multiple realities. I would love to see a reality where Shiro and Rin have to go face against Artoria (Lancer) where Rin gets Archer as her Servant and Shiro gets Mordred (Saber) as his Servant. I don't know? I'm just pulling shit out my ass. I feel like the Fate writers do the same thing. I sill don't understand Grand Order, but i still enjoy it. Just bring back Rin and Shiro and my best girl Mordred to face off against the face of the franchise. Whatever.
@@trainerred1345 For your specific scenario to happen, Rin and Shirou would both have to be the last masters of humanity left who are invited by Chaldea to save humanity. They would both have to be rayshift compatible. And they would both have to have individual servants who are not Mash Kyrielight meaning she does not get developed by Chaldea as a demi servant and hence Chaldea does not try to summon Da Vinci since they don't make a fake servant. And thus the entire grand order fails before it can even start. There is logic to the story if you try to pay attention.
LArtoria is one of the Servants that isn't normally summonable. A person in this thread has already touched on this, but, to specificy, Rin and/or Shirou would never* be able to have LArtoria as a Servant in a Grail War. *Excepting fanart, fanfic or doujins
