🤔 NEW HERE? 🤔
Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games too!

“I probably shouldn’t have opened that door.” Said every Dungeon of the Endless player ever. 🤣
It looks like neither of you played the original game that they built this one off of. Some things you might consider: learn when/how waves trigger (open a door, select research, etc.), its a tower defense game so build a maze based on what doors you have open (you cant close them once you open them), you might want to only explore one path at once until you find a dead end so you can have a main hallway to defend, exploring together is probably a good idea so you dont open too many spawn paths. This game is all about planning, if you planed well you can get very far, and if you are strugglign (especially on early levels) you should re-evaluate your strategy. Treat every door like it will spawn a big wave and make sure you are opening it for a reason, as you will get to a point where you cannot open every door or it will end your run. That said, early levels you should open as many as possible as you start with an advantage in power over your enemies, which slowly disappears as you progress, so take advantage of early rooms.
It seems deceptively deep!
Thank you for the advice!
The perfect combination of game and players! PLEASE MAKE THIS A SERIES!
I love, LOVE the Endless Franchice. I mostly love Endless Space 2, which is a very different game from this.
The universe lore is fantastic and fun.
My favorite is probably Endless Legend.
@@thearcanian5921 I can definitely see it! It is one great game.
I'm also into endless space. Spent so many hours with those games
Endless Dungeon is basically like the second version of Dungeon of the Endless, here’s a strategy: Build industry generators before creating Science Generators, once you have a lot of Science, you can actually upgrade your generators to generate more materials
I absolutely adored the old 2d version of this game and have been looking forward to this one!
Love and blessings!
Edit: seems like the new game simplified the original and is light on content. Fun but sad.
The boys are BACK baby!
I love it when you guys play together I enjoy y’all’s banter. Been watching you since uploaded divinity original sin 😅 7 years goes by so fast.
I have an embarrassing number of hours in the original game, and I’ve pre-ordered this one. And, yes, the approach there was opening one room at at time and setting up defenses as you do to protect your crystal. In effect, you want to open the _minimum_ rooms necessary to get the crystal to its destination.
In the original game, enemies could only spawn in (a) a newly opened room or (b) a ‘dark’ room.
Wouldn't you want to open more rooms to generate more resources though? My approach was always to try and open as many rooms as possible to make sure I'm maximising my resource gain
I quite like the look of this. I’d watch some more. Keep up the good content gentlemen.
Alot of this comes from the previous game. When turrets get exp, from being in fights, they get to be upgraded. Makes them do more dmg, range, and hp
Endless Dungeon: "Rouge-like Action Tower Defense". There, 4 words.
Phh, not even 5 words
@@ChristopherOdd Wasn't the prompet 5 words or less? :)
Nice!
Rouge-like? Like… makeup?
@@alexkaplan1136 Spelling is hard you know... 🙂
did not realize this game looked like this...such a cool art style, it looks beautiful
you should wait till you build everything you want before opening the door, each door is like a turn.
Morning Guys. Great to have the gang back together. Expect much mayhem Luckless.
Great to have the dream team back together!
More Co-Op madness YES! 🎉
A crystal what? A crystal bot slot yes... Oh, yeah, whatever rocks your boat XD
Yay another game with Luckless!!
That's a me🎉
Nice; I was hoping you will cover this title. Thank you!
PLEASE MAKE THIS A FULL CAMPAIGN SERIES
Nice, I just saw and was interested in this game, was great to get a chance to watch you guys play it!
A true example of "trial by fire"
So this is basically a 3d version of Dungeon of the Endless?
Would love to see more of this!
Love seeing y’all play together!
Hell yeah, best duo is back at it!
YESSS I saw reviews of this and really hope you'd play it!
Great video as always!
ES2 is great fun. :)
The endless team
"Sprayer" 👀
I played the original version of this game, can't they use the crystal to power more rooms, stopping enemies from spawning in them?
In the original, but not this one. This one has more tower defense than power management. Spawns come from defined places instead of wherever is dark.
You can light dark rooms with dust, but that's a rare drop.
@@GoodEggGuy Yes, but in the older game Dust was a more common resource that you had to use to power most rooms. Here most rooms are powered.
It looks like you get way more dark room in the later stages. At the beginning most of the rooms are lit.
Given that Steam has been a known health risk for some users since 2019, with Valve's response escalating from just refusing to fix it (not failing or ignoring it, but directly stating they know it's causing harm but have no intention of doing anything about it) through removing tools they know to be required for limited safe workarounds, violating privacy rights of affected users, and all the way up to a couple of instances of literally trying to coerce affected customers into self-harm...
...it's probably a good idea to also provide a link to the game on Epic since it's available on the (how is this a thing?) slightly less atrocious PC gameing store there.
Ahhh I see changes to the library have caused issues with epileptics/migraines. Ugh that really sucks and I'm sorry to hear that. They should fix that! I'll look into this and hit them up about it. More people telling them may make them change. What would be the best thing to link them to that explains exactly how it's affecting you and others?
@@LucklessLovelocks The link you found and posted on Twitter is probably the best public information.
I know of about a dozen people who have provided them with direct proof of the problem (myself included after some pretty involved testing with several people affected by the issue, one other of whom also provided them with the same records).
Their response has been actively abusive enough to make Epic look like a good company to support by comparison. And tbf, about 70% of the problems people have with Epic are overhyped PR disasters more than actually evil conduct. Including a particularly fun "privacy violation" which was actually Steam's fault (and neither side was breaching any privacy rights as badly as Valve has done in response to several users giving feedback about the medical issues they caused and have refused to fix).
Planning on making this a series?
Odd, I'm really enjoying Noita, have you tried it? 😁
So hard. How anyone can get more than 3-4 levels in is beyond me
@@jonnyb6700it is such a brutal game with so many secrets. I played a bunch of it early on. Such an amazing game.
Hey Chris! can I ask if you are planning another XCOM series soon?... would love to see it as i'm enjoying watching Marbozir right now... I know you always do an epic setup for it. Cheers!
I have something brewing in the back of my mind!
@@ChristopherOdd Amazing I can't wait!.. I think Marb got a good balance of fun & difficulty this time. No need to stress yourself out too much
Why is this Odd guy talking so much in a Luckless Lovelocks video?
Why do you even exist?
is it really endless?
Is it really a dungeon
dungeon of the endless but better.
Whoever didnt play Alienswarm. Try it with friends
This has come a looong way.
Does anyone know what resolution and framerate it runs at on Series X?
This is going to be fun with the two of you playing. Sadly, by going real time with multiple characters it looks like they left single player behind with this version of the game. And no, I don't think the AI bots will have my back ;-)
The AI is actually more competent than you might think.
@@TheZanzibarManI haven't played it yet - how robust are the options to give orders to your AI? If I want them to defend a certain route to the crystal, open a door that I'm not near, put down defenses sensibly, not waste resources but still use them, teleport back to the crystal, etc... I'm even worried about the AI failing to stay alive after the first few zones, when things get tough.
Did you find this guy on the street? Dude ever play a video game before?
Nope but I did pretty much just wake up after a horrible sleep the night before and wanted to keep my commitment. I'm sure you're not normally an asshole but this comment is full asshole.
Chris Q the way you we're saying its sound like CU in Portuguese 😂 Wich means ASS, now listen to that listening to ASS (cu in portuguese) 🤣 15:20 min
Remember kids, it has Denuvo…
It has denuvo drm .... that makes it a no go for me
Too bad it has denuvo 😭
Diversity and inclusion bs Don't buy.
i really want to see u make a plenty of playthrough with this game odd.. wish u luck 🦾
