Forgetting about "Gutrectomy - Manifestation of Human Suffering", the new album from Imperial Circus Dead Decadence, and "Nitheful - The Creation ov God".
Relentlessly heavy record, I expected nothing less from these dudes, and the fact that there are 20 songs on this album just makes me appreciate them all that much more considering the fact that they went crazy with releasing so much music last year, and then they release this big ass album to kind of make up for not releasing so much this year. So much respect for these artists and I love Kenny's vocals! My only complaint is that it almost gets a little too repetitive throughout the album, I guess I'm a bit biased because I was hoping for some of that "Depths of Self" atmosphere on at least a few of the tracks, but I'll live.
I agree. It does get REALLY repetitive. The band definitely has a great sense of groove but the guitars are boring after the first 3 songs of the same thing over and over. Kind of struggling to continue listening. We'll see if I make it all the way through. Definitely loving some of the grooves.
My favorite release remains The Distraught Mind (which unfortunately isn't available in a .flac version). It has everything. I hope this new one is a good one.
