    I love watching your videos guys, best Father and Son interaction, getting rid of Hogs together. That is one of the best ways to teach our kids, when growing up, they can have a wide knowledge of things, in school, home, the farm and in the wild. I really love your wife's Clothing Production, especially the Hats/Caps, those can really sell here in the Tropical Fiji 🇫🇯. I can't wait to see the next videos because i over how you bring home a kill, clean it, marinate it, cook it(in whatever way you prefer) and eating it. I am drooling here just watching you all having a bite of those BBQ Butterfly Pork. Yummy. I would love to see you guys more! Cheers.

    I have heard if you have a tough cut of beef to cover it in a baking soda and store in the fridge in an air tight container overnight. The next day rinse all the baking soda off and marinate it and it makes it not so tough. Maybe it would work on pork as well .

    Tell Houston I’m so proud of him! He did good with that hog. Hogs are a pretty big pest the Spanish brought over in the 1600’s. It’s so good that there is a new generation of hunters out there that understands the importance of hunting. And the nuisance that wild and feral hogs can be!!

    • @FarmerFpv
      @FarmerFpv 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We shoot close to 100+ a year on our property because of the damage they do, they root up everything. Same with prairie dogs. We also make super healthy canned dog food with them and donate it to the Animal shelters. My 3 Chubby English Labradors love canned feral hogs, they will not eat store-bought food anymore.

    As a chef who's never catched and cooked his own wild hog, I wonder, can't u just, cook it longer? Til the Elasticity in the cartilage breaks down durther? Lower temp, longer cook time? Wouldn't it be more tender and even, smokier? With a good brine u could break down that cartilage and then later sear the flavor bottles into it, or will that not work? I love pig, but I never been involved with these, wild feriles that everyone seems to complain about. I just see deliciouseness.

    That was honestly the coolest shot on camera because you could see where he hit and it just took it’s time to fall over then he started squealing and hoopin and hollerin and also huestons reaction that was great but it gets better and better as it goes. I also use Everglades seasoning but my fav for pork chops are the fish and chicken just like you used

    I've been told that if you soak the meat in salt water for a few days it can help take the taint out of the boar meat. I don't know that for my self, though.

      I've found nothing works! Made chorizo, brats and italian sausage and the taint overpowered the seasoning.
